    and another what do you use to clean your dogs wounds?? tcp/ dettol. i dont use them any more. i use hydrogen peroxide and hibiscrub. then spray with multi derm and aluspray. its betadine scrub...its great stuff ADAM R...like iodine... I must admit though your right betadine is the business, peroxide tends to bleach the darker dogs and they end up looking old before there time.(gray muzzle) iv only used it on the terriers though, You cant beat the betadine its what the farm vets use and doesnt cause the dogs quite as much discomfort.

    Spiderpig is the area you hunt just overrun with charlie??? or do you drive miles to different parts of the country to where theres more sport? Iv never seen more than 6 fox in one night where i hunt personally. And i could only manage a run on 2. I doubt i could afford the diesel bill if i wanted to lamp 6 in one night. I'd sure like to find these fox ridden locations. Dont suppose you could enlighten me could you mucker????

    It cant catch rabbits with any regularity, it's WAY to big at 18 1/2" for fox work... the only credit you can give the dogs is that they are not very good at anything in particular... or are they ??? if i was you swansea jack i would get your legendary thread going again and let this slur on the working bedlington disappear into obscurity. bedligton terriers are for killing foxes in undiggable earths and rock piles a unique a admirable set of credentials. how these people who set to tarnish the reputation even get hold of pups in the first place. get you 2005 thread back in action

    Get the ferret out pal, i always give my young un's aload of "droppers" its usual practice round my way. my granddad did it, all my friends start and enter there dogs with afew easy rabbits. ferret em out and take em to a big spot. He'll soon get the idea. its never failed me or anyone i know who's done it. gives em bags of confidence to get abit of fur on the tongue! good luke

    Depending on the circumstances sniper i,e the area and extent of the injuries, as to whether or not that is the cause of the lack of the seasons. Its hard to say?? maybe a decent vet could shed a little light on the matter. hope she comes right for you though pal must be a crap position to be in if you've a good bitch which you cant get a line off. good luck

    Greetings swanseajack, iv just stumbled upon this thread when i searched for "Middleton Lakeland", after a short while i realized that this thread has 88 pages so i thought it must be something abit special and gave it a browse, THEN i realized that it was started back in 2005 and I was gobsmacked.     This sites feckin mental lads, i love it! the amount of politics and opinion thats involved in every aspect of dogwork,breeds,breeding etc and just about every country sport and persuit its phenominal, no wonder every threads a war zone! it makes for excellent reading though, especially when it all relates to my very own passions. feckin brill chaps,honestly. ill keep my opinions to my self for now.     Thanks for the warm welcome lads, pleased to meet ya's, and geoff mate yeh unfortunately i am guilty of owning a transit and yes its white but i only use it for the dog work i dont drive it round like a tit for a job, so i dont think i quite qualify as a white van man!

    Good evening all, another newbie here, boring eh? just thought id leave this introduction as i was advised to do so by admin, and its also my first crack at leaving some post as im abit of a newbie to computers in general. Im into most kinds of country pursuits and sports but mainly im just mad for the Dog work (all aspects) , do a little bit of shooting (but don't own a licence) and i do have a fishing rod... somewhere. So that's it introduction over pleased to meet you an all that, happy hunting folks! Keep it real and remember to respect livestock,landowner and quarry. Transit

    hi im new to this site the only reason i signed up is so i could try find somebody who owns/works or breeds kerry blues or crosses them to greyhounds or lurchers, iv seen the results of the litter bred out of the dog "cash" im desperate to track down some decent working kerry blue cross pups, this is the route i want to take with my next lurcher. i here the dog "Cash" is now dead due to a car accident, is your dog a dog or a bitch??? can you help me in any way via a contact in ireland or a breeder of theses crosses??? iv seen 2 d0gs and a bitch out of an imported litter bred off Cash, there so
