1st kill today!!
Won't go into big detail on what she caught but it was a short flight and straight into a hedge!!

just a quick update hes been flying free for the last 3 days at 1.6 and going well still a bit stiborn on times but getting better , chasing swing lure from about 200ft away going to take him to my hunting grounds saturday and will update more then

She was a bit of a bitch yesterday, lack of interest in quarry and a bit slow on her recalls but I did fly her a bit earlier on in the day than normal.Think we will go for a drive today

Went down to Gary's again yesterday and he fitted missy's tail bell. What do you think?

Flew her today 9 1/8 still needs more off. Still instant on her recalls and over much bigger distances. Fed one and a half chicks and a few bits of quail so we will see what tomorrow brings.

male has a damaged tendon in his wing as he was hit by a perigrine doesnt stop him flying it just droops a bit and female has twist in her leg not heridity and doesnt stop them producing good young laid four fertile eggs last season and 3 this year also have rebuilt there nest and passing food so may have a late clutch if quick both are 8 years old , only selling as space needed ,

very interesting reading how your getting on with ya spar fella..bet ya buzzing mate..all the best for the future with her..darrell.
So far so good,was bloody chuffed today. Got a few good spots to get her entered so just a matter of bringing her down a bit more.She's taking a lot more interest in everything that moves now as well but not baiting at them yet.
With her being my first spar as well it makes it all the more rewarding!

well today has been anthor improvment hes flying 5/6 meters to me now for food , not instant but getting better his current weight is 1.7 1/2 a little more of a drop he should be right

yea he was flowen and hunted a while ago at rabbit and phesants, im going to try and getting going after crows as well as there hundreds by me

Some of the replies I have read in this section begger belief, that a person who proports to flying a bird can come out with such crap.
Keep at it boys and remember ILLIGTITIMI NON CARBRUNDUM Never let the barstewards grind you down.
Dafydd, good luck with the Goss this year. I have never flown one. To be honest never had the balls. If it does come good for you then you will be in for a treat.

hes a german x finnish nearly 5 and parent reared should be hunting at about 1.7/,1.8 , going to keep a dairy of him hunting this season

I grew up in newcastle emlyn mate. Gos looks good,how old? What was the lads name who you bought him off?
he a welder , only got 1 arm carnt remember his name i think its nigel but a very nice bloke , hes turning 5 this month
Was he part of a breeding pair? I think he breeds hh as well. Look forward to seeing him fly mate. Bet your made up.
thats the guy , hes got a couple of breeding harris there and he was part of a breeding pair i did have second thoughts about getting him but when i arrived and seen him i wanted him , very steady ive had worse harris hawks than him no bating on the glove no footing or aggresion and he is p/r and not touched for 8 months, ate off the glove tonight so over the moon with him , if i find the cash im going to get the female as she is a cracker to
If your planning on flying him,dont get the female just yet, I think they failed to breed this year hence the sale. You should have called in on your way back mate.
yea she laid and would nt sit on them if i do get her and she done that i would put them in the incubator or put the eggs under the harris hawks ,i will call down as soon as he is hunting mate and have a day down there

got my gos yesterday mark hes steady as a rock . hes a bit older than i wanted but is a cracker i reckon he will be hunting within 2 weeks ,
i dont now where people like dolphion lover, and rat killer come fromeither there antis or complete novices all the best mate

where abouts are you my mate is after 1 and not on this forum , how long have you had her and how long hasnt she hunted has she been flowen since you had her
