    Can't really believe I'm writing this but yesterday Missy was killed by two of my ferrets while she was on the lawn weathering. By the time I got to her she was dead.How the ferrets got out I dont know as I had shut them in hours before.

    I am comletely gutted that this awesome little bird never got to show her true potential. I put my all into this hawk and it was truly paying off. That's it for me I won't be flying anything this season now as I dont think much can compare to her.

    I'll just say thanks again to all the help and encouragement I've had from people off here and especially my cousin Gary(pco)

    Good luck to everybody this season with your birds.

    sorry to hear mate , if you want you can fly my male goshawk till late december, early january if you want to fly something as im flying the male and female goss at the moment and as the night is drawing in wont have time to fly both pm me mate all the male needs is a tail lol hes missing 2 decks and the 2 next to the decks but still flys and gives chase on anything that moves

    please could any one help me with my red tail hawk

    she is 8 years old her wait is 2lb 12oz

    I've been trying to train her to fly 21 yards , she will fly 3 time but no more all she seams to do is look around her. instead of looking at me, even thow i have a good size peace of food on my on my glove , i call her and use a wisall

    ive tryed dropping her wait down but she still is not keen to fly for food on the fist

    how ever she will jump from her high pirtch from 4 paces verry well but she will not fly more that 3 time at 2yards

    any help on this would be a grait help thank you lez

    Well selling my springer as ive lost interest in it so just wanna get rid of it the scope is nickosterling 4x32, i cant remember what the gun is i found it somewhere but forgotten the name i want 70 quid for it o.n.o, and heres a pic. I will post at your expense

    Where are you in south wales? Loads of rabbits where i am.

    im in bridgend area and there is none here mate.

     

     

    ive been to pyle down bridgend and i went on to some land there that was over run by rabbits but i cant get down there any more

     

    Hi there im from the pyle area.... Nice red tail, wouldnt mind seeing her fly sometime, i fly a male harris.

     

     

    yea mate ill hunt her down there sumtime once i got her going just this stupid welsh weather need to break so i can train

     

     

    rich you can still train in this weather mate dont stop because the weather is shit you can do jump ups and still creance work ,no excuses if the bird does get soaked take her inside and dry her before putting back in mews ,found any permison yet up your way ?

     

    yea mate my dad sorted out for me to go up on a farm and we speaking to another aswell to go up on his aswell wat do you mean dry her wat just keep her inside till she drys herself then put her out in mews

    use a hairdryer on a cold setting ,i got a couple of farms to ask round here now mate about 1000acres he owns told me to call up his house one day

    any updates? must have caught something by now? come on eager to find out.

    no still havent caught few near misses on rabbit and duck, crows but his fitness is letting him down gradually getting better now out flying and chasing everyday but he was one unfit goss when i had him a harris was faster but that is changing fast not far off his first kill with me he has become a very steady hawk not much fazes him and will chase anything

    i got a new pup on monday brought him home put him in the shed and he hasent stoped

    crying since and when i mean crying i mean howling and whimpering to the exstent were his voice has started to go!

    ive put a hot water bottel in ther and a light left on in the night along with his food and other bits and bobs,

    if any one els has any ideas ther more than welcome all tha best
