  1. Back it up to a pc with iTunes but don't encrypt the back up.
  2. Looks windy up norf with all those trees blown over ....
  3. Just be careful what you buy on flea bay, as the Chinese stuff isnt all its claimed to be. I was Stung on 18650's which when tested, were just about the same MAh as a Duracell AA.True about the battery drain, as Duracell AA's won't last a whole night at foxes. The 18650 battery from NM on the 800 lasts a few nights though.http://budgetlightforum.com/node/9274 Looked into the Kentli Li polymer after seeing them on YouTube, when I was looking into power for the atn x-sight 2. They seemed to last the longest in their tests. Will see when they get here. It makes sense as they are high current,
  4. Look out for some good batteries and a separate ir lamp, if you use the onboard ir the batteries don't last that long. I've just ordered these:- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4pcs-1-5v-2800mWh-KENTLI-rechargeable-Lithium-AA-PH5-battery-USB-Charger-NEW-/122229053386?hash=item1c756b57ca:g:PtUAAOSwzJ5XcgoT
  5. Scott country were giving free ir torch with every sale.
  6. Call your local Isuzu dealer and quote your reg number. Never had any trouble with insurance and it was cheaper to tax than my old fiesta van.
  7. I had one for years, went through a few injectors, but other than that it was a brilliant old bus. Check if there are any recalls outstanding on it.
  8. Think that was my biggest yet.
  9. Yeah, impact in .177 paired with the Yukon photon and sadly no gloves.... bet you won't forget them next time not much fun when you cant feel your fingers!! might borrow my mates yukon one night and bung it on the wildcat! like lamping rabbits but the rats are getting harder now I've thinned them out so time for change of attack! atb si Do it, I think they are great. Tried the atn x-sight 2 first, but wasn't impressed. Couldn't get the right eye relief with the impact rail, plus it was about a foot above the barrel, making holdover a nightmare. Rats are easier if you do a bit of reco
  10. Yeah, impact in .177 paired with the Yukon photon and sadly no gloves....
  11. Was ill prepared for the icy wind, so went home after this one. It was a big bugger, at nearly 12", not counting the tail.
  12. Still got the lamp, with warm white, cool white, red and now ir. The little buggers are none the wiser with the nv though, you can't really pick your shot. Got a bushnell nv monocular as well, for spotting. ?
  13. Sport of kings indeed. Was just getting my eye in when the rain started.....
  14. Got myself a Yukon photon to pair with the impact, for the rat offensive. Made a big change. Had 10 in the bag within a half hour, before rain stopped play. Land owner was happy, told me to take a dozen chicken eggs and a couple f goose eggs, as I left.
  15. They seem to like Nutella liquidised with cooking oil.
  16. There's bloody loads about, they just don't like being shot lol
  17. Yeah, tried to delete this post, don't know what happened there..
  18. Rabbits are very scarce, around here too. Was at a local permission, yesterday, nothing to be seen. I went back last night with my lamp, just to make sure. A little flash about, from the truck window revealed quite a few. Still think this rhvd2 has accounted for a good few. Apparently they just die underground, you don't see them on top like Mixy.
  19. Have never tried green tbh. Bought an ir led pill for the torch now, to be mounted on night sight when it arrives.. The rat pictured was shot, from nearly 30 yds away, after poking his head out from under a water trough. The main rat hotspot is in the chicken poly tunnel, but they scatter as soon as the light goes on. i only use green rick works fine for me on rabbits and rats atb si[/quote Night saber do a green one too, might have to give one a try. Will see how the atn pans out first.

  21. Another single. They really don't like the lamp, red or white light. Ordered the x-sight II earlier this week, hopefully that will change things in the numbers game.
  22. Well, only got one again, last night. They really don't like the lamp, white or red light. Ordered the atn x-sight II earlier in the week. Hopefully that will change things in the numbers game.
  23. Where abouts are you? I am near Huntingdon and not seen anything on my perms.
  24. Yeah, there's plenty of youngsters about, but they don't sit still for more than half a second.
