So........... Pray tell, what did they use before the mighty Saluki at this time of year? Or are the hares harder now? pray all you want to like i say only saluki types will catch em up there now at this time of year and thats how it will be for the next 8 weeks or so . as any experienced coursing men will tell you quite right if there was anything better we would be using it I thought your dog was 7 months old? it is and this dog wont se anylong ears this year it wont se any untill atleast 14 to16 months old You only got the one? yes one saluki ad a collie

ok a few hares will be killed by other types but the salukiand saluki xs have the stamina to do 3and 5s not many other dogs can keep the pace up

i live in leicestershire and have a ful blood saluki still a pup at 7 months but will start on rabbs after new year pm if you like

i use .222 and to be fair at that range your groups shoul be alot less than 2ins give the bore a good clean with hoppes bore clean remove all copper foulincg ect rest rifle on sand bag forend and but end to reduce wabble and try again
