    Was he a rough coated dog that was bred in scotland called post barolo? sorry ALLYMOORE didnt notice you had posted. yes mate he was. I have found out all i need to know thanks. I have got an old bitch out of the sister of his dame dif sire. His sire was apparently not up to much yet covered a few bitches. was told NS, and his mate also used the sire.

    Shinyspade the first time I met B B was when he judged a show in the Middlands. After the show he came into the beer tent and spent some time talking dogs with the lads. I just wish I had met him sooner as I had wasted time, and hard earned cash on poor pups. The pup I had of him grew into the best dog I have ever owned, it was everything he said it would be.

    DOWNSOUTH WHAT WHEELER DOG DID YOU USE ON YOUR BITCH. THERE IS A COUPLE OF FELLAS LIVE ROUND MY WAY THAT KEEP WHEELER LINES. NOT MY CUP OF TEA AS THE ONES I HAVE SEEN THOUGH BUILT FOR THE JOB, LACKED IN THE ABILITY TO TRAVEL AND FIND. THE MOST IMPORTENT INGREDIENTS IN THE MAKE UP OF ANY WORKING TERRIER AWAY FAR BEFORE, HEAD, JAW, AND BONE.

    I WAS OUT WEEKEND WITH SOME FELLAS SPIFF THAT HAD SOME QUALITY BLACK DOGS. WE DUG TO A STRONG BLACK BITCH JUST UNDER THE 3 HOUR MARK, AND ALSO DUG A REAL NICE STRONG HEADED BLACK DOG TWICE ON SUNDAY. I HOPE TO GET A PUP IN THE FUTURE FROM THEM NO MATER WHAT COLOUR OR TYPE AS THEY ALSO HAD A CRACKING RED DOG THAT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS SEEN A LOT OF GAME.

    NOT WANTING TO UPSET ANY ONE BUT I AGREE WITH FRIEDRICE THAT IT IS HARD TO FIND GENUINE WORKING BLACK LINES THESE DAYS. I HAVE TRIED AND WORKED SOME RUBBISH OVER THE LAST FEW YRS. IT IS MY OPINION THAT THE BLACK TERRIER IS GOING DOWN THE SAME ROAD AS THE BLACK & TAN/RED LAKELANDS. SPIFF IF THE BEST DOGS ARE IN IRELAND WHY DO MOST TERRIERMEN IN IRELAND KEEP DOGS OR LINES THAT CAME FROM ENGLAND.

    Nice looking terriers Fell. Which of Bill,s dogs do they go back to. nice dogs Fell. What names of Bills terriers should I look out for Fell that prove they are genuine Brightmore blood, as I have seen a lot of Lakeland cross Brightmore lines that looked good but wouldn't work.
