WHY do you lads use staff in your patterdale lines? Coz it makes em Hard Yes and it makes them aggressive and come out all shapes and colours not a line to me Its the in thing nowadays pour all into a pot ..What goes in will always come out ,Mostly when you dont expect it..Dont agree with x s of any sort to be honest.Feck me seen some really weird clours coming out in whites nowadays ..Keep it in the family

Oh yeah I night fish for them with tail sections..If your first one has a small mouth they usually prefer worms the larger mouthed ones prefer dead bait .Very distinct difference in the mouths found the bigger ones are the larger mouthed ones

The Ouse around bedford has plenty of decent eels pike and perch ..Its the old pits that hold the biggest though .3lbsers are plentiful best Ive had was 6.12oz.best perch out the same water was 3.12oz.The Ouse has good barbel, chub, perch, roach its a good river to fish .I prefer the old pits around Bedford though

There is a small pond in the middle of an industrial estate in Bedford holds loads of coarse fish But it holds 7 carp over 30LLb and a grass carp well over a metre long hardly anyone knows its there , ive not been there for years,remind me please.... your too far away to fish it cant blame a man for trying.wouldnt want to anyways mate.ive plenty of waters which hold big carp but i aint a carp fisherman.been there,done that although i may go dangle a worm with a stalking rod if this hot weather carries on LOL I just fished it for eels but fed the carp with floaters just t
