went out yesterday morn with my son kevin, took the ozzie (10 months old) pup with me,and rellik (16 months old)accompanied by Sonic, sire of ozzie and 1st x sal/g.hound. we arrived at a place we were shown last season and the ''big rabbits'' arent over plentifull but you can get a run or two if lucky. So we walked......and we walked........andwe walked some more and did you ever get to the stage where you go numb, lol.Concentration levels dwindle from the heat and no activity at all,and then when your not at all ready a furkin lump of a runner jumps up and takes off like grease lightning,Before

it was stacked in the naval base the other day with the navy guys locked and loaded protecting it,big bloody bales of white gold i was thinking to myself i could have a good flippin holiday if i had one of them, then i thought of the misery it brings to the users and families, some ammount of powder to be transporting though,we might have a celeb in Cork prison soon id say.

lol,ive 2 here for a grand each lol.I watched my sal 1st x and the deerhound 1st x run together and have to say the speed of the d/h on take off was very impressive ,faster than I thought it to be and they do look majestic when running, whatever way they run, they have a gait thats appealing to the eye,but i will stick to my smooth coated curs for another while yet lol

double post.

i expect he would be pat, only ever met him once, hes hours away from me,i dont know a whole lot about them to be honest, the only one I did own was furked up with electric fencing down my way, made him rather nervous so I rehomed him where he still enjoys life today as a pet.
-
as I said its nothing to do with me,theres 1 mate that owns the stud dog,the other I dont know at all so ive no vested interest in what happens to the litters, good bad or indifferent but im only saying what I think,it doesnt mean im right of course but there ye go for what its worth, gamerooster thats a career I never considered lol might be my calling huh?
-
yeah GR,the sires a pure d/h,i have seen him on a few days out but my mate that owns him is a coursing greyhound man and he doesnt keep poor dogs to be fair,i think their a great dog for a bit of everything, from fox to bushing to running a big rabbit but i dont think they can be in the same league as say a bull x for fox or a racy speedster for rabbits or a saluki type for long drawn out runs but as a very honest all round trier they sure take some beating, and the most important thing to me is their a lot of fun from what ive seen................,my other mate has a 1st x d/h bitch thats a fli
-
no hes up country but the same lines, the sire of the pups came from his place,he took fox at 13 months old,has had a big rabbit or two and has been lamped on bunnys as well.
-
2 litters hopefully on the way from 2 different greyhound bitches by 2 different owners but by the same stud dog,you by any chance on boards.ie? and yes im in the south also.
