  1. don't think so mate the rabbit sounds alot like ours, i have heard some of them your talking about and there not that good. I think its because the sound is not man made its real thats what makes the difference.

  3. Hi all :welcomeani: Here is a good way to save loads of money on them crap fox calling boxs. I came across a mp3 fox call the other night that my mate had so i saved to my pc, the good thing is once you save it to your pc you can load it to your mobil phone, and my god it works that well. The only prob is i can't upload it to this page because the page has a max upload size of 500k, so if you like a copy please email me on kirbdog1@hotmail.com and please let me no how you get on with it.
  4. don't let that pup read the stuff off this site from your pc it will end up brain dead nice pup
  5. bird's right mate look at you options, also you need to think about the ground your running on, is it open in a big space or is it like horse padocks small tight space. is it just rabbits your running or bigger things. work that out then get a dog that works the best in that environment. I think it's more of a ferreting/mooching dog he's after, rather than a full on all rounder. Correct me if I'm wrong Gilly mate! Thats right Malt, just for bunnys nothing more, nothing less. well then all you need is a nice whippet /grey / collie, about 23" 24" will be spot on, tr

  8. I think the spaniel will put to much nose on the dog, if your looking for a dog with a bit of nose on it, you may aswell go for a terrier cross, then you get balls and nose for the same money, somthing like a bedlington out cross. good luck if you go for the spanile cross.
  9. hi vic there are alot of factors that may contribute to the dog not catching the rabbit, like the ground your running on if its to soft the dog beds down makeing him slower but the dog can turn faster, if its to hard the dog is running on top of the ground makeing him faster but this makes him slower in the turn and over shoots the rabbit. also a dogs size can play a big part in how it performs, if you are running a 30" dog at rabbits the dog has to stoop to pick it up there for cutting down its performance, smaller dogs don't need to stoop as much there for keeping performance up.
  10. nice 1 taff but you no i have always liked your bull stock, i may have the honor in getting my hands on 1 one of the days
  11. Wee bit more detail would be good...was it dogs first fox? was he injured?etc etc He's pulled two, this was his second fox on top he killed the first without much effort, this one bit him on the back leg, once he'd been biten he didnt want to know and just danced around when he stopped it. this dog is a lump and has done a lot of other terrier work. But he hasnt seemed to get the nack on old red. Just wondered if any one has had this problem before and if it ever got any better. My first thoughts have been lead treatment. But he has been handy for other jobs so far. Would just seem a sh

  16. I agree the Bulls have quality that not many dogs posses they can be a bit nippy with orther dogs but like some one said earlier it is how they are raised I have only ever had G-B Bulls and they are with out a doubt the most stable blood lines what are G-B bulls Pritch I would like to know that to G-B ? SORRY 1 ON ME
  17. i think your end up shooting it because it looks like its going to have a peace out of you lol lovely looking pup mate
  18. thats a good reply, infact i take my fillter off when the dog is in full run
  19. thank you for the kind reply, bull x dogs are like kids you should take your time with them like you do with kids, do not rush them they will come on in there own time, do not show them aggeresion because the aggeresion is all ready there its how you train the dog to channel the aggeresion to realease it at right time that you requier it. the 1 thing ive found with the bullx is that they never give up they will still run even though they know they can not catch what there running at. i think more of a dog you buy or breed the more time and understanding is requiered and responsibilaty
  20. its ok mate im just pulling your pisser ive had reds do the same thing to me.
