    I think we may just be lucky kreet Sure,most waters are stocked,but even in waters with a fairly low density of fish its never too difficult to get a fish or two,just vary your methods mate,a fishery owner on here has just suggested I try using a blowgun on fish,maybe it works for him I dont know,but it just shows the unusual machinations of some guys minds Try powerbait mate,or my old favourite,the simple,humble mackerel feather

    Mr Green,sounds like your having fun with your gun The quarry has time to move because of the fairly slow speed of the dart,its only a few hundred FPS,same principle as an arrow from a bow,quarry past 15 yards or so has time to react if its already tense and aware something just isnt right,its called jumping the string in bowhunting parlance

    Not even a bite?? Maybe night-time is better mate,all the trout round here only feed after dark,leastways I think they are all nocturnal feeders,I havent actually caught one in daylight yet

    They are good on small game mate,I killed a full grown rat stone dead with a head shot,if you look on you-tube theres loads of Blowgun clips,including a idiotic one of some kids somewhere in southern england killing a robin with one

    I used to have one mate,bought it from the states,shot small birds,a few rats etc,they are accurate,useful weapons,Oh,and you need a licence,they are classed as a firearm nowadays

    Your daughters got webbed feet as well Kreet?Looks like old Jack Pikes milt flowed in scottish waters as well,come to think of it JOE must have scottish blood,his face is a sort of wierd realtree-tartan I am not going to tell anyone how to empty a chalk-stream kreet,some things are best NOT divulged The fish are all perfectly edible though,however,the method is just a little bit TOO effective Anyway,we are going brown-trout fishing soon,dry-fly only,just waiting for a hatch of some small insect types whose name is only pronounceable by an entemologist then its off we go,Tight lines Kreet

    If you inherit the bad traits its in-breeding,if you inherit the good traits its line-breeding,I would class the ability to swim at 50 miles an hour as a good trait myself Besides,you like to take baths Most of us avoid them like the plague
