    sharpies

Probably spelt the name wrong but who cares. Anyway, my mum and dad went into a certain pet shop last night and they had for sale some sharpies with stitches acrosd there eyelids, apparently sharpies have droopy eyeloids that now have to be stitched back. Anyone seen or heard of this before.
  3. No any wierdo could know the names of you and your kids where you live etc. beware of people cknocking on your door claiming to be social services. it has happened before so be warned.

  5. Got to do a media piece on Ferreting and its evolution and I need to clear a few things up, anyone ever used bolt nets, basically they are just nets without drawstrings and pegs, I just need to know why you use them and if they work well. If theirs anything else i wil stick it up on here for you lot. Thanks ginge
  6. To be honest mate i would have given the ferret longer before rushing in with the spade, if you had waited you probably wouldnt of had to dig at all. What did the greenkeeper say about digging up his golfcourse I wonder
  7. dreading to see what my pup will reckon to the mass fireworks. might take him for lamping where it is a bit quieter.
  8. Just having a laugh frank.
  9. Thought they didnt dip cars mate?
  10. "I am fed up with all this argueing, its just not civilised any more. Can some one sign me off and then make into a mod to stop me moaning!" Remind you of someone?
  11. never had any problems with stock, he is 24 in tts and a 1/2 whippetx1/4 greyhoundx1/4 collie.
  12. so you are selling the dog becouse its s--t then mate : Say what you want mate but until you meet me or the dog keep your mouth shut.
  13. Magwithch how do you gut the rabbits, do you do it the normal way, or do you have some misterious technique to it as i have heard.
  14. yes mate the dog works and i am in widnes mate, northwest bit too far from you i think. to john do you not think i have tryed, this has been going on for months now, since easter in fact and i havent had the older dog since pup, a similiar problem has happened with another of the same litter which is maybe why the owner before me wanted to get rid of him as he had just taken on younger terriers.
  15. i am having to get rid off my 2 year old colliexwhippetxgreyhound. He is not acccepting my younger dog and his jealousy is reaching its limits and i just dont know what to do with him anymore, the bond beetween us is broken so it is best he goes to another home possibly with older dogs that will be a more permament pack leader, I taking on a part time job so my time with the dogs will be cut shorter and i can just see the problem spiralling out of control. he is a lovely dog and is great with children and most other dogs, he is just not accepting my younger dog and i am unwilling toget rid of
  16. And when your wife starts to hack you off, just feed her head to the ferrets.
  17. Here is Flash my colliexwhippet 8 months old and 18in tts. And this is Ty my ColliexWhippetXgreyhound 2 years old and 24in tts.
  18. I would like to borrow your time machine for a bit of pre ban hunting mate.
  19. Good luck mate. I know a family that moved out there recently, the kids and the dad are all settled in and lovin' it but the mum hates it and want's to move back home, wish it was me in their shoes.
  20. Thanks for your opininion mate, that is what is worrying me. Any other opinions would be helpfull.
  21. My mate has a greyhoundxdeerhound cross, i have never seen it catch but i have been told it catches a few, personally i don't like the dog as it never concentrates on the job in hand, never stays to hand and never listens but i would put that down tho the owner because he is a right twit. Watch Lurchermania theres a few deerhound crosses on there doing the bussines.
  22. Alright lads, I wan't your opinions on this. I have two lurchers at the moment, a colliexwhippetxgrey and a colliexwhipet, the colliexwhippet looks like he will make a good ferreting dog but there is some rivalry beetween the two dogs and that has caused some problems during the first couple of outings. What i wan't to know is all you ferreters that prefer to net warrens and use lurchers to catch any unnetted bolters wether you prefer to work with one dog or a number of dogs. Personally I preferd working one dog last season enjoying the one man one dog bond you get if you know what I
  23. well done, can't wait for the season to kick off proper for me, every time i have been out there isn't anything to ground.
