    Well they have both been in the same field both times I have been down but it will be a bit tricky now as I think they have heard all the calls that jimmy and I use and we lamped them on the first night, so I reckon my best bet maybe to try and bait them and then lie and wait an hour or so and trust they turn up sooner rather than later ! Still looking forward to seeing the .17 in action !

    Whether it was 60 yards or 360 yards .....it's dead thats all that counts ....and it was an exceptionally clean kill, so great shooting as far as I am concerned :clapper:

    Hi Billy got them both with the lamp... Its Dave that uses the NV, i cant justify the price tag on Gen.2 NV, in my opinion they are ok if you are out on your own, not much fun if you go out with a mate, he sees feck all, Hence when i go out with dave, i prefer not to have him bring his Nv set up, (hope you are reading this Dave) These 2 were shot when out with my regular shooting buddy, i only go out with dave if he is stuck for company...LOL...     Went out last night hoping to see a .17HMR in action however my guest of THL who can remain nameless (unless he wants to admit it ) brought his..22lr bolt instead of his.17HMR bolt:icon_redface: , so that took the bunny bashing off the nights agenda :wallbash: ! He was not the only one to be embarassed though as later on when we were calling in a fox and I went to take the shot nothing happened as I hadn't loaded a round , then by the time I loaded the rounded and took the shot I well and truly fluffed it .
