so the men that put greyhounds to the saluki did it for speed chart ? or was it done because some wanted a more aggressive style ? or did a lot did it because they never had access to saluki blood different to what they had ?

years ago me pal had me in stitches he bred a whippet good little dog to a saluki when he slipped a pup with the whippet on a hare he looked at me and said f***ing hell the whippets had a remap the pups were on another level in every way shape form he went to coursing breds not long after lol

mate a coursing bred is miles faster then a whippet lol come on what sal bred dogs you been watching a saluki has the best hunting brain can read the land better then out nothing comes close a whippet runs in straight lines lol

i’m not kennel blind mate honest lol whippets non peds have a descent aggressive style don’t they you get it right with abit more speed brain and sticking power from a sal or coursing bred you can get some excellent dogs chart

i don’t lamp em until i’ve had first season coursing like you said they will end up like a whippet coming straight back once the rabbit hare hits cover no good on a daytime dog unless your slipping a few coursing to rules is it

lol i’ve got lurchers there for a little bit of everything i like a lamp me pals do we like day aswell for a real test i’m just a bloke likes running his dogs legend? didn’t nuttall love a lamp foxy like fox ? there’s abit a that blood in the dogs lol
