I always use straw/hay to mate ... If they cold they will ruffle it up and climb under and if they hot they lie on top .. BTW surely that rope cant be comfy i think more people should consider my idea .. it works like a dream and sometimes you forget you even have it on your back + when you bend over it doesnt come swinging round your neck at 50 mph and nock your dog out ... I got bored tonight ( bout 5pm) so i thought id go train the new ferret kits up so got all my gear together and went to a small set i knew. Tryed my albino she was reluctant to go down at first but after a little incouragement she went but was only working very shallow ? So thought aww she just needs someone with her so threw the sandy in aswell and she was also working very shallow and not bolting nothing. I new there was rabbits in there as i did alot of bushing near by and and 2 or 3 rabbits hit that set. So after half an hour or so of lettin them play in the holes they wudnt stay down for

I feed mine the odd rabbit or chicken wing, but there main food source is 25 kg of merlin dry complete for £20 delivered to your door

nar my uncle had bought it a year ago but his terrier self entered a un used fox earth and it colapsed onto of him so had never used it.
