Yeah it's an SMK XS19, I live in Barlaston but my old man lives in Stafford so we headed over to sporting supplies because we heard they are good. Illuminated reticule would be good. haven't tried that BRC software yet will do tho.

If any of you recall I was thinking of getting a JSR scope, well I had one and the elevation wouldn't adjust so sent it back and they sent me a replacement straight away and the same thing the elevation wouldn't adjust. Got my money back and then went down to Sporting Supplies in Bloxwich they sorted me out with a Hawke Airmax 3-9x50 Px Adj with Map 6 recticule. Zeroed it in and I really like it the quality is good and the optics are clearer. If this rain ever lets up for 5 mins I'll go out and try it. Just an idea but I used to organise t-shirts for a car club that were embrioded in using a local company. Not trying to steal your thunder wats but i've used transfers and they don't last long. Shall i see about prices etc? I PM IanB a couple of weeks ago about this sort of thing but had no reply also Sticks for your car windows. Will post up in a day or two my findings.

Which stocks will fit my gun or will they all fit with minor mods?

As you may or may not know I've got an SMK XS19, was looking for a cheap stock that will fit it as I've been praticing some chequering and want a go at making mine look nicer, wanted the new stock to do it on so I've always got the original should it go wrong. Any ideas where to get one from?

They have stopped biting hasn't taken them long to calm down and sort them selves out. Thanks to everyone for the advice I was given. Also would it be worth while taking them to the vet just for a check over or would it be money wasted there is nothing wrong with them just an idea.

Finally I've made my mind up which one to order (I think ). After the advice given on here I've settled on a JSR 3-9x40 PX Illuminated. I think for £50 it's a good buy.

Some good pictures there, I have never been ferreting before but hopefully this year I will have some photos to show you using the two ferrets now re named to Lucifer and Bealzabub.

As it says in Jackie Drakefords book Working Ferrets the only ferret she has ever managed to get a muzzle onto was a stuffed one.

Well well well, there has been some fierce debate on here while i've been away. Can't leave you lot for fivemins can i lol. Anyway back to the matter in hand, to be honest with you I was going to shoot them then thought it would be best to get some help for experienced owners. Well over the last week I've been helping a local game keeper catch up pheasants at some lad near me. Yesterday we went off to his shoot to feed the pheasants up there and walk the dogs all be it on quads. Well to cut a long story short he has given me permission to shoot and ferret his 3500 acre estate, there is even a nice stretch of river teaming with barbel and chub. Well chuffed.

I think you need a licence to sell to general public, but if you flogging two to your neighbour say i think you will be alright.
