Got to say a big thank you to Mr Tea Pot for coming over and showing me how things are done and a cracking demonstration of what can happen it the long net isn't set We will definatly be out again soon. I might even bring the beast of barlaston other wise known as my over excited ferret. Cheers again mate hopefully see you again soon.

Now I have your attention, could really do with some help with my ferreting. Been 3 times now and only had one and missed one. Was hoping some one could tag along with me or I with them to learn from some one experienced. And yes there will be a pint in it for you. I've got permission so no need to worry about that just need some pointers. Thanks

Just wondered if anyone fancie accompanying me? Have only been a couple of times myself would be good to have an experience pair of hands with me. Will be using my ferrets and nets so don't have to bring anything unless you want to. Any takers near barlaston?

What a day it's been, heavy fog freezing cold the birds wouldn't get up high enough, fields were water logged and the ploughed fields were even worse. So all in all a good day had better than sitting in watching telly. Anyone else been out today?

Cracking day had there by the looks. Wish there were a few more rabbits on the permission i have.

I haven't found any prblems with the trigger being to far away. Mine was chrono'd at 10.4 it kills rabbits pigoens etc fine at 35 yards. It is quite loud but then again its a springer, I have had good success with it and for the money i can't knock it even if the scope cost the same as the gun.

Before I got my ferrets I read Working Ferrets by Jackie Drakeford and Complete Guide To Ferrets by James McKay both very helpfull.
