    I like lemons , but i dont rub my face in one , well not often ....I think it masks the smell of humans on the dog. My weaton cross was shining last summer , she found a dead sheep whose insides had turned into a green soup , straight in , head to toe....matted her coat like syrup.stank like death .dont know how they stick it, thier sense of smell so much better than ours. freash sheep sh*t , mmmh her favourite treat.urrggg!!!

    Told my mate already he can have my terriers and to sell the lurchers to pay for a piss up when i,m dead. Problem is I think he might try and bump me off now....Should have thought that one through a bit more...If I stop posting call the police!

    There,s a reason terriers are small and bitches are generally smaller than dog,s : Never had the need for a "big " bitch. Strong bitch yes .Always breed from proven dog,s you know ,not hearsay , select what you want and loose the rest. Talking to a friend last week after his dog had won best terrier. He was saying that 4 people had asked about using the dog to cover their bitches and that not one of them had asked what the dog had done...no wonder there,s crap out there sold as genuine.

    I suppose it comes down to what you want from your dog and what your permissions like. I,ve got a collie/g,hound x wheaten/g,hound, great for the small fields round my way. Also then got a saluki/g,hound x bull,g,hound for the bigger fields over the bridge in england. Helps avoid dissapointment. What you going for??

    Unless you know who some one is,you don,t know thier dog,s. It,s easy to slag each other off ,constructive comments might help. Jr only want a dog to put over his bitches for christ sake. Jr ,you won,t go far wrong using Mal Thomas stuff, I,ve got two of his through Rusty Rees, s/wales. Spot on bitches,started at about 14 months,no problems at all mate

    The problem with shit bitches lay,s with the boy,s breeding them. your better off paying a bit extra than using a sub standard bitch just because it ,s yours.The only problem I,ve had with my own bitches is if I have a really long day they tend tire quicker than the dog,s. Beside,s that if the breeding,s right ,the bitch should be right.

    Don,t worry what some arse of a breeder say,s, you know yourselve,s whats needed .People who exaggerate weak point,s of a dog ie Bulldog,s face arn.t worth the air they breathe. My russel,s do the job as well as any terrier I,ve used and have won the odd show, what more do I need!

    My first time on the chat room scene,so I,ll just start by stating what dog,s I run.Mainly I work russel,s, had as many as eight but now down to two since there,s less ability to give the dog,s the work needed because of the ban. Also due to the ban I also run two lurchers,a Wheaten Greyhound/collie greyhound,cross and a Saluki Greyhound / Bull Greyhound cross. These four dogs are all worked ,maintained and shown with one of the russel,s,a bitch qualifying for the Midland game fair.
