Years ago guises they were about with say people who upgraded from a staff to a put or EBT to a put American bulldog to a put but now there no longer around anymore as a petbull I knew plenty of lads who had game dogs as pets. i know on here you won’t find many PitBull enthusiasts I was just curious what the hunting lads thought of the decline in the game Dog as I see it

I’m on about the uk mate

I think if you have never owned a pit dog then it’s easy to say I wouldn’t have them around my hunting dogs or leave them with kids or that they only go against there own kind in a Weighted contest all that could be true but there is so so much more to owning a Pit Dog and the people who have never owned one have a lot of information and opinions about them and that’s not a shoot at anyone who’s posted. Until you have owned and raised one you will never no.. now as far as having them by other dogs I’ve got 7 and there is no problem with them on the yard because I’ve kept them for 25 + years an

People need a mentor in these dogs and believe me I’ve housed plenty that have eventually came back to me in the end but I do feel like people need encouraged to have them again or we might as a country regret it. The thought of these dogs Being abandoned and swapped for some washed up version is of them is a sad thought. I’ve beem on this site for 18 years and when I joined there was plenty of hunting lads with them plus the bull crosses ‘ most are not even game dogs or at least a strong 4 generation of dogs behind them and there crossing them in to hunting dogs. the Irish h

Yes I know there about I most probably know the majority of the people with them however it’s still surprising to me that even people maybe your self that have a understanding and appreciation of game dogs don’t keep them. Plus so many people who once had them don’t anymore and have switched breeds ‘ I don’t know how anyone could settle for less ‘ once you have owned a true apbt it’s hard to settle for anything else and to answer your question yes there is some people who shouldn’t have them but if I had a choice ‘ the choice being would I want the average lad to have them than see the br

It shocks me to see the lack of interest in the game dog ‘ how can people admire game terriers and not own a APBT. The dog is becoming a rare breed among hunters and game dog enthusiast although there is no dog like them. What are all your thoughts on this? Since the birth of the bully it’s like they have just dropped off the planet. Let’s hope people realise that this is a terrible shame if they become so rare it will be hard to find a game one amongst what’s left..

dose that not burn the shit out of a dog Peroxide I personally think should be used if you missed a would and it's getting infected it will bubble it wright out definitely not a first choice If your on a bout just cleaning minor cuts then betadeen surgical scrub or ibby scrub is I think the best use a sponge and wash the wound out and rub the sponge over the rest of the dog it's perfect for stopping infection And if it's bad then amoxicillin plus keep washing the dog with the surgical scrub and it normally sorts out 90% of wounds

Rely important it relaxes the dogs gets rid of nots and like stated gets the blood going threw all the muscles I never done it before a work out but definitely after some of my dogs used to have there eyes half closed and I swear after a while 1 bitch I had would stretch out the leg I was rubbing ha I start from the top of the head 2 hands thumbs in the centre and rub wright down to the back on to the hind legs after a while the dog stands strong so you can push the nots wright out then each leg I some times wear them cafe hygiene gloves its like brushing them at the same time' when th

Treadmill is a excellent tool in getting a dog fit Incline electric mills are perfect for building endurance in a dog & like stated all ready they get to love them. Fitness is based on recovery the fitter you are the faster you recover' dogs as well as humans have muscle memory and long walks build muscle endurance which for a GH I think it's important to mix endurance with explosive power plus it's easier on a dog than road work it's a good way to build up a dog before the hard work starts and it's good to warm a down on after a hard work out.

We're discussing the traits of 2 dogs & what you get when they are put together I'm after knowledge from experience hunters cause as you no nothing beats experience But I think there would be a big diffrence in the quality of the bull x if both sides of the breeding was stable and well bred. Bootsha you have a good point bit harsh with the crack head shouts haha but I see what your saying and manee dogs are put to sleep in the APBT world they are not ment to be aggressive towards us and people who no the breed and have worked with them no how dangerous that can be. How many peop
