  2. Just been cleaning cupboards out and found some old shooting mags. I dont really have a use of them any more but dont like seeing stuff go to waste. Theres 38 mags in total. 'Target Sports' June 1999 till Jan 2001 in good condition. The rest are mostly 'Shooting Sports' also in good condition and a few air gun mags which aren't quite so well looked after. They're in the North East if anyone is interested im them. Was gonna put them on E-Bay but cant be arsed. Thanks for looking
  3. This was my bitch. Not a great pic, sorry.
  4. Im sursprised that you've had such a bad experience with the Altberg boots. I wear Altberg Defenders everyday for work, and have done for past 4 years. I am on my second pair after wearing the sole of the 1st ones almost flat! Theres also the option of being fitted up for your boots if you travel to the factory shop in Richmond
  5. The British stuff will keep the heaviest of rain out but its got a life, same as most stuff. best thing to do? Get to know a squaddie who can exchange yours for ya for nowt lol. ATB abbs

  7. There's some muscle on those dogs mate. Lovely. Are they bullx's?
  8. Well I always prefered flatheads or super h when i was shooting .177 which was over the legal limit as otherwise it wasn't getting clean kills. But that is specific to my air rifle at the time. Horses for courses
  9. What work has he done up to now. Why is he being sold. Try to answer the FAQ`s in your first post. It saves time mate. Good luck with the dog he certainly looks the part.

  11. I know you weren't Wilf, I wasn't on the defensive there, just saying if I had it I'd of spent it. The infuriating thing is I could of comfortably afforded the insurance. Just too damn lazy to get it sorted.
  12. I'm afraid you're right Wilf. I wouldn't of begrudged the grand if i had it. But a couple of hundred would wipe me out. I would of happily wiped out my bank balance to save this dog though.
  13. My little patt' was hit by a car today. She suffered some serious damage to her front leg; broken bones and un-stitchable cuts. Got her to a vet as soon as possible but when it came down to it the possibility of the treatment running close to, or even in excess of £1000, the decision had to be made. With a heavy heart and lump in my throat i had to ask the vet to put her to sleep. If I had insurance at less than £10 a month, as I was going to sort "tomorrow or summit", I could of paid out a little excess and my dog would be limping her way to a full recovery. So all Im trying to say to th

  15. Is that the mighty Homer Simpson who said that!!
  16. Thanks everyone who responded about the dog. For now I've got her in a temporary home near me. Im gonna be taking her back up to the north east for 3 weeks in august to try and put her permanently with someone i know first. If I cant put her with anyone i know she could be available again. Sorry to those who PM'd that i didnt get back to sooner, it was a 110 mile round trip to collect the dog after work today! Cheers again for all the responses
  17. This dog has done nothing up to now. She is available due to marriage break up. I cant keep her and the ex wont. She's the dog in my avatar. Kept in the house with our 2 year old girl. I just want a home that will give her the time and exercise she needs, first and foremost. She is house trained, and recalls when exercised off the lead. She is not aggressive to other dogs but is not broken to cats, rabbits, ect. The dog is in Hampshire. Any questions about it please ask. Thanks in advance

You'll get a trade with civvy qual's and apart from tours to the hotter places it is just a 40 hour week. Outside work, your times your own. The only thing thats going to put a dampner on your hunting is if you aint married and live in 'the block', you cant keep animals. Any other questions mate PM me and I'll do my best.
