  8. Hi, I have been asked to do a pest control job ( rabbits near a golf course) and the guy wants to know how much i charge, there is 30 acres of land he cant plant any flowers as rabbits will hammer them straight away , he is going to want me up there lamping most nights ....any ideas guys? i was just gonna ask him to cover my fuel and ammo? but im quite conscious that this will turn into a "job" as opposed to me shooting a doing light pest control because i enjoy it, the customer said that if he could buy a machine gun to " mow them fuckers down" he would ! ......what do ya recko

Hi mate, i went to sportmans gun center in exeter and picked up a baikal 12g that someone bought put 50 shells through it and decided he didnt like it....the gun was mint, and it fits me perfectly! and i only paid 150 quid for it!!!!!!!! i shoot clay pigeon rabbit and and anything else that steps out....i regularly put 250 cartridges through it onva clay day without any problems...except for a black shoulder that is! the other option is to get a semi auto...you can pick up a decent berreta on www.guntrader.co.uk for less than 300 quid! peace.

  19. just thought i write this up....i came across this whilst hunting in africa soaking any game meat in buttermilk (you can buy it in tesco) or natural yoghurt makes the meat very tender...the active enzymes start to break down the meat making in ery tender, you need to soak it for 3 days in the fridge, it will look gross when you pull it out but once washed off it will cook much more tender than usual. i tried wilderbeast and impala some soaked in butter milk and some not the differnce was shocking! i then came home and tried it on venison and rabbit! the membrane than covers the rabbi
  20. any one own one of these or know how good / bad they are? and if so what ammo they like? i know ammo is relevant to each gun, but just out of interest.....
  21. yer to true! the photo guide on this web site is awesome! the only thing i can suggest is to get stuck in once you have watched a couple....ok you wont get a profesional job done but it doesnt take long before you get your own techniques. well done again mate, i am fairly new to this game myself and it takes some time and patience.

  23. if my old man had found out that i done something like this i would have got the whooping of my life! getting in trouble with the police would have been the last of my problems! although i genuinly believe that the problem lies with the parents initially....... if a dog is a nasty son of bitch...who is wrong, the dog or the owner?.......we all know the answer to that question!
