  1. get him a grossergram, for 120 pound you can have a 20 stone grannie sit on his face and stick her fingers up his arse.what more could a 17 year old want?
  2. I use to use daiwa sensor the reason I stopped was I didn't think the abbrasivnes of the line was much kop( I'm sure that's the right word)basiclly I found it to eava suffer line twist or cut offs. I did start using twenty pound x line as a leader but now I've spooled all my reels with the xline in 15pnd,the bollox for medium range fishing the line sinks like a stone and dissapears. It's alot dearer to spool up big pits with the fluro rather than mono that's the big downside, daiwa sensor shoud see you right though mate.
  3. Nice one Mackem, will get onto them first thing tommorow mate hopefully get one sorted.
  4. Yes mate thts him.it's f****n heartbreaking just hope we do him proud with the send off. Will try them Monday mate hopefully one of the local shops can put me onto someone if they can't get it done.
  5. I lost a very close friend Friday morning the young age of 24. We were all well into our shooting and spent many a good day out in the field messing about with dogs guns and ferrets. We want to get a air rifle or shotgun flower tribute made up,but at the minute looking through the Internet we can't find any pictures of any that have been done before, not had chance to go to any flower shops yet and no shops around by me are open Sunday, just intrested if anybody knows anything like this being done before and any pictures or any shops that might be able to help in or around London. Cheers jak
  6. Yeah I'm done now had a bollock ache the other day,had had all day and ended up with one rabbit and bruised ribs from trying to jump on the kits as they poked there heads out the holes. Time for non stop carp fishing now for me.
  7. Well f**k off then it's a hunting site and you ain't talking much hunting.
  8. I'm intrested in this to,iv been considering a twenty for a while just can't make my mind up on it.
  9. I wouldn't fancy pumping a 400cc Bottle up from empty with and pump, wher are you mate iv got a bottle,I can't see locations I'm on my phone
  10. You won't go far wrong mate there a good gun and really quiet with the right silencer. Also if you get one now you will get the ugraded magazine system which in my opinion makes the r10 unstopable,I'm sure there's a few on here who will agree with me.
  11. It is a 177 mate it's a BSA r-10,I'd be lying if I said I shot them all with this gun,it was a joint effort between me and a mate, but both guns used were 177 shooting at around 11.4 ftlb. Most of them were shot at ranges between 25 to 35 yards, the long shot being a bit of a one of for our shooting skills. Depending on distances your shooting mate really when you say about live round or airrifle, you can't go wrong with an air rifle though for shorter distances.
  12. It was dead still no wind or nothing, would of Been a different story I reckon if there was any wind,I wish there was because he keeps goin on about it now. Cheers jake
  13. Cheers fellas, was a good day first time out with the gun for nearly a month now I think. The place is crawling with rabbits and with the farmers main trade being cattle the place is flocked with crows and magpies to that need clearing. Forget to add the best shot of the day was 56 yards just under the eye taken by my mAte leaning on my shoulder for support out of the van window. Cheers j jake
  14. Aleight everyone thought id write up about the day i had out today me an a mate have gained some permission which requires the rabbits being cleared as quick as we can and anyway we can. we done a bit of ferreting and had a few half decent bags but this time it was the r10 turn at the rabbits and my mates daystate huntsman bith 177. We got to the permission at 4.30 am and had a quick walk around the chicken pens looking for rats but nothing around,my mate managed the first wo rabbits whilst i was driving up to the first wood. we was gana get out and do some walking but every time we got to
  15. I had them out the other day on a new permission that wants clearing quick as,spent all day trying to jump on rabbits no bigger than a rat and watching them hole hop, unless it's neccesery mate I'd wait a bit to start working em proper.
  16. Yeah I'm gana get a few different tins so just gatherin a few different names to try of ones people have used,so there's another one to try then the jsb and falcon, just don't wana waste a load of money so gana try and narrow a few down.
  17. Alrite lads are these falcon pellets people are raving about being mainley used in 22,,anyone using them in 177 and how you finding th em compared to other well tested pellets. I'm using bisley mags at the minute getting a grouping of ten pellets in the size of a penny and very rarely gettin any fliers, soon as I start trying some distance shots it does seem to open up by a large amount. Got some new peissioms this year which will require some distance hide shooting so want to try some other pellets and close this grouping right up before I start on the rabbits. Cheers jake
  18. Try gripping them round the back of kneck and pushing there chin up with the other hand until u feel the break I find this the easiest way for me to do it.you can pit there head thru the mesh of the net to [bANNED TEXT] doing it this way so you ain't gota worry about them bolting.
  19. Nice one si I will do I'm goin to ring him today, hopefully he got time to work on it and I'll drive it straight to him I'm desperate now. Cheers mate jake
