    Found the set not far from the feeders,quite an easy dig only bout 0.5m deep in nice sandy ground.Opend up to the dog locked on to an already dead charlie.

    Alrite mate, been doin a lot of pigeon shooting lately with air rifles and found I had my best bags setting a few lofters in a tree just away from wher e there's a feeding place,on my ground there are holly bushes separating small fields,I find these to be most productive for there feeding this time of year on that ground so I'll try and sit up around these areas. I found just walking over the fields without the gun helped to find the pigeons sitty trees,I always see loads when I ain't got the rifle!! I dont no if everyone is the same but I always seem to do better when my face and hands are

    Alrite mat,should of put it in AT really but Just never get round to doing that sort of thing,and don't no how the rest of the blokes on the lake would of took it,probly pushed it a bit putting the picture up here.

    Alrite mate if your struggling for good thermal socks,this might sound a bitover the top but on holyday in America I picked up some knee length socks that heat up in the foot and toe area,all powered by batterys you stick in the top of the socks,ther still lite as f**k and My toes ain't been cold since on a lot of long night sessions.

    Alrie mate,iv just cone back from America and spent most my time in a hunting shop there,they had a game called The hunt in ther for the wii but I think it was coming out on xbox to. Search for PRO BASS THE HUNT in google should come up.

    ANy one on here now where I can get a leather cover for my r10 buddy bottle, can only seem to find the neoprone ones or whatever there made of.

    Alright mate cheers for the advice ill look into that.Did see someone on youtube remove the shroud and get the barrell threaded or something similar to what your saying,think it was by john bowkett,ill have to see what moneys left after christmas and go for it. Cheers for the help.

    There is definately something about the gun aint thyere. how u finding it with the shorter barrell? Am tempted to get mine taken down just to help when shooting out a motor.

    Iv been using that call everyday now just messing around in my garden and taking it out walking the dogs to a local rookery for quite a long time now and the best tone iv found to blow in it is one really long drawn out deep blow with a closed hand over the rubber end,then towards end of vocal open hand to give it a more high pitch noise,they really seem to turn back around and dive down on the owl and maggies with this tone of call. Not saying its bulletproof but it works for me.

    Cheers again fellas,the r-10 is a proper tool,quite long with a silencer but lovely to shoulder.

    my bullet hole would of been pounding if i had that on barbless,mine was micro barb but still makes a big differance. I bet they love you on that lake getting her in first chuck. we might be waiting for a while for the thaw the met office reckons another batch of freezing whether i think. any way good luck when it does thaw mate. tight lines.

    a good old english forty mate,well done,better to see that than one of the many that are caught in france day in day out yeah iv done the france trips and it just aint the same feeling. Took me just under two years to get this one out but well worth the effort. Feck me your reels must hold some line...Jokes. Nice one lad,Had my first 30 this year,a common at 34.8,well good feeling. is that the one on ur avatar,if it is its a good looking fish,gets the old knees knocking a bit dont it if you get a look at them before there in the net.
