i can only find 4 foot 6oz nylon nets they are 1.60 compared to hemp at 2.50.but i dont think there can be much in it when you price for 10 oz but cant find a shop that sells them on internet.

iv sorted him with a net making dvd now, but remember when you get good at it youll have to make me 250yard longnet.

well i got a net making dvd sent to me by fubar of here free of charge so ill do a good turn for someone else.pm me your details and ill get the dvd sent off to you.it will teach you how to make them but dont get frustarted when you go wrong, it will get easier when you get comfortable in your own way of doing things.

iv started making 10 oz nets havnt used for a proper days ferreting yet but took them out on a walk with the dogs and set them a couple of times and theywork just aswell as hemp.

If your fishing around Farnborough/Aldershot alot JM you should join Farnborough and district angling society. Their cheap and the waters hold some decent fish. The basingstoke canal holds loads of decent fish. Pm me if your interested and ill tell you the decent spots yeah mite take you up on that offer soon mate of some spots to go, takin it slow though at the minit on a few steady lakes just to get the feel for things.hopefully start being able to suss me own little spots out.but like mackem was saying everyone wants to know you when your fishing a quiet bit of r

a 55 pound cat fish came out from under walton bridge the other day.think thats a bit big for anything im ready for but that seems a good place for pike. I never knew that about the cat,we were under Walton Birdge on friday night yeah i read it in that anglers mail or what ever its called and they had the picture in there to and it did look like walton bridge.tried going there the other week but they old boys must get up that little bit more early than me.

were only a stones throw away from london so everyone you meet is eaver a snob or bullshiter,more than likely both.like i said i wont be going back to that place now.i was over thorpe lea, another local lake and got talking to the bailiff,told him i was only just starting out and that i was having no luck, he comes back half an hour later with his own bait boxes and puts almost half of it in me own and drives on his quad to a spot he reccomended for me with all me gear.i think lakes like the other one is enough to put a begginer of.

thats another thing bought meself some tiger nuts crushed up and some ready for the rig the dynamite bait ones,think spent around 30 40 quid on bait ready for the day and the bloke wernt aving none of it.a pound for a mars bar to.f*****g rip off.

Would of been the last time I fished there! I live a spit away from JM maty,its like that round here mate,loads of busy-bodies,friday night after work me and JOE were just casting a line,some guy gets it into his head we were Environmental Agency doing research on a local water ,demanded to see our official ID thats all you need aint it.what makes me die is they dont check no ones licence but charge you fifteen pounds for two rods then make you buy there tacky bait.no wonder the blokes in davies angling said theyve seen the baliff laid out and wouldnt be surprised if we did the same

Would of been the last time I fished there! the rules are ridiculous, the only reson i go s because its quite local and i dont no anyone whos gone there and blanked.oh yeah i blanked the first time i went.i wont be back there dont think.

alright mackem,over in aldershot mate.gold valley.you probly no yourself it aint a big fish lake but a numbers one.started of with a bit of scopex sweetcorn and a small piece of fake corn and pulled some nice size breem out and then went on to some luncheon meat and got about a 9 pound carp with the meat.everyone was telling me to use pellets but like i said i had enuff of them falling of so give up.got a week of work so im going to do the week over thorpe lea i think. Least you got a result mate Thorpe lea will be ok for you this week Oddly enough someone was telling me about a trout

like i said before there bait only and there strict on it to.two or three times the bailiff walked round and asked us to pull the rods out for a rig check.dont think ill be fishing it to much more.

thats a good idea, i didnt think of that.would they not be able to smell the glue or can you buy odourless.iv just started out in the carp game so clueless realy.

i was using the esp drill set.tried 8 and 10 mm pellets but couldnt keep them for long enough.i think it was the standard of pellet because few others i think had same problem, but the fish go mad for the 10mm on alittle bed of smaller ones so wana get it right.

well the lake has loads of rules so you have to buy there pellets from there shop.and they do come round and check tackle so they were just the fishery pellets.cheers for the advice mate ill look them up.

itwas deerhound cross.before my dog was stripped out they were spitting image. Whats your bitch's breeding mate? beardie collie greyhound with aparrently alot of deerhound put back in way back.couldnt tell you prcentages of blood line mate an all that but she aint a bad little dog.hopefully try getting her retreiving a few hares for the first time this season.

alright everyone just after a bit of help if anyone can.I was fishing today only on a small lake so there was no mad distance casting just little flicks of the rod and still my pellets just seemed to slip of after about five minites of being in the water.Can some one help with any decent pellet names to by because basiclly this seems to be the only thing catching over there at the minite.Another thing i was using the same stops on the bottom of my hair that i would use for a boile stop, is that where im going wrong.cheers if anyone can help.
