  6. hares are in short supply in the south eqast [bANNED TEXT] best traveling to suffolk or further east ,plenty of deer in the south east ,not to hunt of course just to look at lol.
  7. so what its not compulsary to be a member of this or anyother web site ,get a life.
  8. Most lurchers will take to rabbiting and most will catch a rabbit all depends how much rabbiting you want to do and how serious u are if there were more rabbits on my permission it wpould be a beddy grey for me more versatile jmho
  9. I like bushing with terriers for exercise and to keep boredom to a minimum I like a bit of bushing the more a terrier is out and about the better, its not bushing that will make a dog go to ground on rabbits its the frustration of being banged up in a kennel all the time that will cause u most problems jmho
  10. most terriers are pleasing to the eye , but does it realy matter to much what they look like , you can only tell his worth when hes out of sight JMHO
  11. I like Borders always have as fox dogs they can and should equal any other working terrier of any breed. Its easy to find non working shit Borders but I would say its just as easy to find shit non working patterdales lakelands or russels if you think not your only lieing to yourselves lol JMHO.
  12. If you have the time money and room to keep a dog for every ocasion good luck to you, but personaly I havnt. Its as much about me working around my dogs abilitys as them working round mine.
  13. when the air is cold and the earths are holding start then
  14. Personaly I wouldnt give a dog bred that way kennel space sacks of shit JMHO
  15. The legacy is being carried on by anyone who works a decent honest dog.More power to those who keep themselves mainly to themselves, not all real deals demand attention or crave exceptance like well known authors seem to past or present.
  16. nice dogs lads, had a classic dig today with the fence post and no locator lol just like the good old days.
  17. FMWTC is for rescuing terriers if you join to get permission or to buy an entered terrier you willl be dissapointed I think the constant phone calls asking for entered terriers or demanding permision is the main cause for most decent reps chucking the towel in JMHO.
  18. Lol common sense would tell you horses for courses hounds for grounds.
  19. I would just like to wish barry and his family all the best as he was recently diagnosed with lung and bone cancer.he was a keen member of the Fell and Moorland working terrier club kent area before recently moving to suffolk. He also used to run a bitch(flop) in the east of england coursing club.best of luck bazil but this dont mean you miss your turn on the spade mate.
  20. I would just like to wish Barry Watson ,who used to run a black and tan bitch Flop in the east of england coursing club, the very best, to those of you who know of him he was recently diagnosed with lung and bone cancer. He was also a keen member of the fell and moorland working terrier club kent area before recently moving to suffolk. looking forward to a few more days and nights working the dogs mate so stop laying about and get those dogs fit.
  21. Whippets cracking dogs but are they the dog for running rough ground or for running a lot of rabbits a few times a week....I personaly would go for bedlington/grey bit of hight so wont go unsighted and a bit of coat and good feet against injury also can have a run on other gear if the fancy takes you JMHO
  22. Worker to worker should be game.
  23. Dont worry me old moon raking mate,we will save some for your podle to bark at lol....
  24. Watch this space,he has been dug to plenty and this coming season we shall have pics to prove it. The terrier team realy has developed lately bushing like spaniels and looking realy kean for the coming season. Ratkilla has been busy preparing the digging gear for the coming season....he has been busy polishing the spades which his mother thanks me for it stops him polishing something else....and should go some way to saving his eye sight.
