Bring him back slowly and give him electrolytes and plenty of fluid.Have you run him unfit? thats the biggest cause of running the back off a dog and he could have died.If you rush him back to work youll kill him.That vet doesnt sound like a Greyhound vet or he might have had him on the drip but you must get electroytes into him and no running.Just lead walking and steadily bring him back.good luck

your right there.the b*****ds charge what they like.Some are good though.The one i use aint bad but I wanted some idea before i went in.Upto about £80ish would be ok i think. Just had my partners Boxer done. £150 front only from a vet that I get all my terriers tails and dews from. All the Lurchers I have are done from birth but a lot of people with terriers like to leave them on???? That sounds expensive.I called and asked for a quote first.It has cost me exactly £.96p If you go to a greyhound vet it helps I think and if ask for a price first it also helps.

My mates just got a Deben mark 3 ferret finder but niether of us know how to use it.We have the set and one collar with transmitter. Could anyone help us out with instructions on how to use it.They will have to be clear Im afraid we havnt got an olevel between the three of us and I cant count either.If you could it would help us out a lot.Thanks

Has anyone had dew claws removed from an adult dog.Obviously its an operation under anathsetic at the vets but i wondered if anyone had had it done recently and what the cost was.One of mine is having trouble and will have to be done.

1st cross bitch.nice temprement.2year old worked day and night 24tts messes a bit on the retrieve but shes only young.Shes in the west mids.£150 pm me if you interested but please dont mess because its only the price of a 8wk puppy. Yes they do make the odd mistake dont they.Would you say draining there resourses by about 6million quid just to take away our right to hunt with our dogs was a mistake? Would you say that was a good intention? RSPCA are our enemy.They would outlaw the keeping of any kind of hunting dog if they could tommorow. I remember them taking up all the large billboards in the centre of london to display anti hunting pictures.Can you imagine the cost of that right in the middle of London...and you talk about underfunding.The RSPCA are totally against what we do in the field and are very active in that r

It was a good article no doubt.I always enjoy your own articles by the way.You sound down to earth and a man who respects quarry and dogs.There was an article in october which was a bit sad i thought.When a man promotes his dogs in words and pictures and at the same time is trying to sell one of them in the back for £50 it says something about the kind of mentallity of some folk.they are all talk but when it comes right down to it everything in there kennel is either for hire or forsale.

I don't really have the time for insurance now... im getting him there tommorow.. and if all goes down well ( fingers crossed ) i'll then get insurance for him. Insurance is what keep vet bills up.Nobody heard of it a few years ago.You would have got laughed at but now it seems you have to have like all the other sheep. Get in touch with youre local dogtrack and find a good bone man for the future.By the way if you do go to a vet make sure its a greyhound vet so he can say what its chances of running again are otherwise you could pay out and end up with a cripple.Double wammy in the pocket

How do you know it was done without anesthetic They dont know.But they probably dont care.They just jump on the band wagon because they think it sounds good.If i didnt know it was a hunting forum id think it was the anti brigade.Especially using the antis favourite word BARBARIC.
