  2. who gives a crap if people stalk in camo or tweed.. as long as you get the job done and your comfortable in what your wearing!! if i knew this would cause such a problem i wouldnt even have posted. Wireviz, thanks for the advice on clothing.. maybe one day i will try the tweed out and see if it makes a difference.

You state in your wordly wisdom ,that most woodland stalkers wear the tweed ,cotten or wool Get out a bit more and meet the people you set to use as an example .That the realtree works is unquestionable but then again you wont question what you have done for years 'wirevizosaurus' Does being seen with a rifle in cords and tweed mean any less to the public than if i was in realtree ,no not a bit .In fact the reatreee serves to confuse the human eyes more than our quarry that rely on other more sophisticated means to stay alive .As a background breaker ,realtree is the one for me in my situat

  5. i have not shot one but there was a parker hale safari for sale in my local gun shop. The only thing i didnt like about it was the bolt was a bit clunky and not very smooth...
  6. hi all.. i have seen a used sako 75 for sale at a decent price.. as stated it is used but looks like its in good nick.. there is marks on the barrel from the mod but thats about it... is there anything i should look out for if i decide to buy it? thanks, Mo

  8. "in my short time i wouldnt have found that out?" wireviz, i started of woodland stalking wearing the very same camo.. no problems.. as of yet.. only shot 2 fallolw and a roe deer but so far the camo has not caused me any problems..

  12. indeed! thanks for the good company mate, just a shame the weather was against us and we got biten to death by midges!(suposed it was our fault for leaving the spray! ) Well that buck that got away will be there next time
  13. hahah your right! what it is im prity new to stalking (about a year and a halF) so i just used to wear wellies when ever i was out woodland stalking... however on this ground it becomes very hard so i had these lying around at home and decided to use them untill i get some proper stalking boots
  14. as said befor i have also seen reds.. nere rainow... could not get the stalking though.
  15. there is defo wild reds in cheshire as i have seen them whilst out shooting geese. Its a herd that live in macc forest. I tryed to get the stalking but the farmer i was shooting geese for said he liked to watch them lol

  17. hi. just a quick question... does anyone shoot roe in bad weather like when its raining? or is there no point trying in weather like that?
  18. hmm not sure because i was up a the grounds 2 weeks ago. I saw a roe jumping about chaising another but that was it... i was told it normaly starts mid aug till end of aug....

  20. go on google and serch "fox firearms" he has some VERY good glass for a very good price. Bought some bins of him for £ and the quality is amazing.
