    hi all. i am looking to get into fishing and i am a compleet novice! was just wondering what i will need to get started and any other usfull info you experienced anglers may have to pass on. its been mainly shooting i do, i have fished once or twice when i was very young but could do with some more info.     hi mate, what you need to start of with is as follows: 1. Hide netting 2.hide poles 3.about 8-12 flocked decoys (shells are good as they are light to carry) 4. gun and shells. 4. comfy seat 6. big pigeon bag to carry everything the above are the baisics you need to start the ball rolling, you can then start to think about geting floaters, flappers and a magnet. the magnets work realy well sometimes but other times they can spook the birds, you just have to see what the birds are doing and how they are flying on the day.. if you need anymore info give me a shout.

    sorry i didnt mention i wont be reloading to start with, is there any good factory ammo i should go for? the only ones i have seen are 140 grain?

    for sale is my weihrauch hw95. the gun is in perfect working order and is still up to power. There are some sratches and marks. There is a crack in the pistol grip (due to someone firing whilst the barrel was open) but this has been fully repaired. Looking for £ for it. Open to offers.

    yep its happend to me before, they just tend to do what they want realy, quite unpredictable to be honist! You can do everything to the book and have a fantastic day and go to the same spot next week and not fire a shot. Just depends on what the woodies want to do that day!

    hi all, what bullet weight would you all reccomend for reds? when using 6.5x55

    i'm not going to be reloading to start of with, but i may do later on.. is it beter to reload for the 6.5? i like the 6.5 because of what i have herd about it, that it is very accurate, the max range i am going to be shooting at is 250 yards and this is the total limate for now...

    hi all,I am soon to be buying my first rifle for stalking, most probably will be in 6.5X55 OR 308. what scope out of the schmidt & bender and the leopld would you reccomend? the syndicate i am joining will be woodland and open moore land, will a 8x56 be ok for this? thanks for all the help, Mo

    well we are all in the same boat so if we all help eachother then we all should get to do some sort of shooting... even the ones who have not got any land of there own.

    hi all. I realy am in two mindes of which of the two i should go for, it will be used for stalking atleast twice a month or as much as i can get out. I realy like the wood stock on the Hunter but will i run the risk of scratching it or geting dings in it whilst out stalking? What do you all have? Wood stock or synthetic? thanks very much, Mo

    would you all think this scope will be ok for stalking? i asked my gun dealer and he said buy a swarovski? I am fairly new to stalking and wanted something that is good quality but will not break the bank, thanks for all the help

    hi all, has anyone got a hungarian schmidt and bender scope? is there any differance in this one and the german made ones?
