Hare coursing in Scotland, it had to happen I am afraid
baz replied to a topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
we got caught on the fens today( i say we but it was only our driver as 2 of us hid in a dyke) the police said that hare coursing was put priority over some bloke threatening a women and kid 5 mile away, -
hares on the fens without getting chased myself

very nice dogs...was that recent? if so how was the ground when the dogs were flushing there hares?

i think he had the bitch with us the day we were coursing,didnt see it run tho..buddy was a nasty fecker aswell..the pup i have at the minute is a grandsire of his and i think he has the temper aswell. is th white dog only young? sv was telling me you had a good young dog is that the one?

top chalker is that white dog bred from foxy/charlie stuff. its a ringer for a dog called buddy. very tidy animal you have there

alot of folk keep mentioning having the right weather conditions to kill 100, with out the right dog you aint killing nothing....................the best night in the world you aint killing nothing if your dog aint bred right. a grey/whip will never kill 100 no matter wat the conditios.....im slippy, its easy to knock a guy(i guy i dont like) slagging a dog but minshaw has genuinley done the ton. but to kil this i would say would have to be done on fells..were the rabbits cant goin ..ever way great accoplishment

also there was a fellow up in scotland that used to breed a small whippety strain of lurcher that was blessed with good staminer that also got up in to the very big numbers , some of the others on hear may know his name as i have forgot. thommy mcfee was the guy i think

went to watch the fight on saturday, great atmosphere through out but towards the end bika quietened us down and there was a few there thought joe was going to throw it away... i dont think he did his credability much good by taunting bika, and leaving his chin open to such a strong guy could of been a silly move... but he pulled it off..bring on defence number 20

classic fights....id love to have seen them live.....dont think boxing will ever have them sort of fighters again..we get one fighter a decade now, back then you had half a dozen animals around together in each division

pups have had the wild shites for a few days now, im taking them to vets tomorrow but does any one have any remedies until then .....thanks in advance

if the police want to charge you they,ll do it weather you have game or not, they charge you with tresspass in pursuit of game.... even when its been proved there lying in court...we have still been found guilty....the last time we got done they didnt even catch us on the land, it was in a car 5 mile away and an hour later

behind the car on the beach starting at 4 miles and working them up to 10 miles a day.

there doin fine pups are 6 week today, 3 have gone, 5 are yet to be picked up and ive 2 left to sell due to messers . there some bonny pups, there going to be dynamite on big bunnies? hows your hounds?
