Mine are made of 10mm steel, if the welds are good then it will be hard as nails .D.

thats fine to say what ever works for you and all that but like i explained to you during our phone conversation today, and as i have always said it wasnt a case of opinions and personal methods it was blatant statements of this or that doesnt work full stop. maybe it didnt work for simon but to generalise and say it wont work is either arragant or brash. I couldnt agree more with you mole catcher but it may of came out wrong in the writting of the artical or it may be like you said very ''arragent or brash'' i think the only person who knows is the man in question, dont get me wrong im n

Hi everyone i come from Devon i do ferreting using nets and dogs, a bit of shooting, lamping, longnetting, fishing and generally going out for a mooch with the dogs. I have a saluki/greyhound, greyhound deerhound, jack russel and seven ferrets. Im also into fast bikes and having a beer . Cheers .D.

i suppose it would depend on what you are fishing for? I thought i would try fishing for rabbits, do you have any advice or help to give on the subject? . thanks for the advice Ianrob thats the same size mesh that i have been told aswell .D.

I am about to start making a fifty yard trammel net with onehundred yards of 6z 2 1/8 for the middle wall, what size outerwalls would you reccomend six inch or nine inch meshes and also what size nylon to make the outer walls? .D.

Thats a cracking looking bury, ninety nine percent of the time im crawling round in a headge laced with thorns something like that down my way is less common then a UNICORN!! .D.

I have heard about it being used to make long nets but im not sure on the full spec but i know its strong enough and its fairly cheap so i might give it a try and see what its like. Cheers chap .D.

I use castration bands they go on really tight and hold the net up no trouble, they are a lot thicker then elastic bands so they will take a long time to perish. Plus they are as cheap as chips .D.

Hello everyone im currently constructing a hemp long net but the next one is going to be spun nylon, which size would be better for making long nets and purse nets number three, four or five and has anyone heard of rayon before if so would it be sutible? All views and help welcome .D.
