    grey x lab has been around a very long time, I had one back in the early 70s a complete allround dog, Rabbit, Hare,deer, and very usefull on the rivers carrying the cord of the shackle net across the river, nose, speed, stamina, and great feet on him, and very intelligent, also good watch dog around the yard, very alert, Sounds a like a handy dog to have around that b l.

    A friend had a1stx years ago, she was a cracker took all quarry, the dogs he has now are bred down from her, if you get the right one and in the right hands you should have alot of fun with it.

    They guy has just stated that they are from stock his mate has line bred for 20years, so whats your problem. Everybody wants names,, lines etc,, well if truth be know its the same old names and lines getting thrown in all the time. There only know because they were matched or because they mixed in the wright circles,, they get talked about seen ran then all a sudden there a top line, bullshit. Theres blokes who keep there self to thereself and line breed there stock, using outcross now and then when they have to,, they maynot be in the circles, they may not match there dogs, they may not b

    yea mate they are targeting dog men mostly idiots who have been lamping through the summer when all the crag rats are camping out under the stars.thats why theres a crackdown.also a mate of ours was asked at a show by atotal stranger if he knew any good spots for reds at night with dogs.or knew any body who would take him out and show him the score...my mate gave him phone number for our local butcher and told him he,ll sort you out..     They always print these articles in the same way, leading the public into thinking all lamping is illeagle,never never mention for every poacher theres someone with permission which obviously then makes it leagel to catch rabbits. Best thing to do i reckon is for all the lads with permission to get out the next black week, the authorities will think there on to a winner, how stupid n pissed off will they feel when all they get after there hard work is a permission slip waved infront of there face,n i bet they fail to mention that in there next article.
