Well had a good do yesterday when i was invited up to lads place for a days digging we came to the first earth and collared up the dog away he went we let him settle in to the job at hand and got a mark at .9 so off we went after a bit we broke through and the dog was hold so we pulled all out and let it run for another day.We then headed to another spot and tried my mates dog it was a real handy one about a foot we were there and gone in no time on to the next place so we let in a bitch i have and it turned out to be a bit of a c**t as we spent 2 hours digging in the dark but it was all worth

Well Voon they are all D.Roberts line and are all fell types the red dog with the black bitch are mother and son,and the other black dog is the only one that came out of his litter with a bullish look to him there would be bull back in the line a long time ago and now and again it comes out in the pups..

  13. I live in the midlands but have to head to the meath area for the reds its not to bad only about 3/4 of an hour from the house.. Thats a great stag Paddy, congrats on your first.. I know the area well, plenty deer about their.. Frank. Thanks for that Frank it only my first red stag i have been shooting fallow for the passed few year.Do you shoot the odd deer your self?

Hello to all i was out this morning on some new ground i have just got the other day i was told by the land owner that there was a lot of deer on the land and as far as he new they were all fallow and at the time he also said that now and again he he saw some deer that were a lot bigger than what he usually See's around.That really got my attention as the first thing came to mind was YES YOU GUESSED IT REDS.So any ways i headed of bright and early and got to the place about half an hour before light as i was not to sure of the lye of the land i waited for light before i headed in the land is a

I was out for a shot on saturday morning and after nailing a fine fox at 6:10a.m i spoted a right good stag at the other end of the field he was about 500 yards away after a bit of a stalk i got to about 250 yards or there abouts when i took the shot he ran for maybe 10 to 15 feet and droped when i got up to him he only had one ankeler and it was a good one so i can only imagine what he would have been like in his hay day.P.s would have posted a pic if i did'ent break the screen on my phone the same moronig................
