    Maybe we have a bit more freedom to dig where and when we choose,but these lads making an issue over 50.60 digs a season,there have been times ive had double figure digs in a week and its not uncommon.Whats the point in keeping terriers if you are not diging them.I dont keep them to look out the window at,and all my dogs get well and truly tested as does the lads i dig with.Lee micheal off here dug his black dog 3 times the 1 day last season,and none were handy digs,so the numbers dont be long building up.I think a lot is to do with leaving your earths as near to possible as the way you found

    Got mine from a lad called Francis, dead now god rest his soul. She was about 18"tts 40lb, she could be trusted, trusted to bite anything with a pulse! Got it back at around two years old, lovely bitch around people it knew but totally aggressive towards anything else and I mean anything. I didn't need to be otherwise and I didn't have the needed time to socialize it. Absolutely top guard dog, always used to jump high for a bite and I mean head height, bit seven people in a day once, oops! It was always kept away from children and animals.     a dog that stays wae a fox until it bolts or dug to, but never been dug to cos they have bolted lol If it stays till dug to then it aint a bolter,and if it dosent and comes out then its a quitter.I dont think there is any such terrier as a fox if not in a stop end given a chance will bolt from a hard dog same as a sounder,and if they dont bolt then i for one would not be impressed with a terrier coming away.Some lads like a terrier that will do maybe 20 minutes to ground and if no bolt come away and move on but that is not terrier work in my eyes.I would much rather get a dig no matte
