  2. tiny tim's advice is a good start. It might be a bit of grit in the valve. If the valve is knackered it'll cost you £6.50 to buy a new one from Blackpool Air Rifles. You can buy them from any Air Arms stockist but Blackpool have a picture on their website. £7 is average. Blackpool Air Rifles. Air Arms Accessories Scroll down to the snap connector kit and price up the bits you need. You will notice that they do the male parts with two different diameters, 16mm and 17mm. If you get the wrong diameter (i.e it's too big) you won't be able to screw the valve cover back on your rifle.

    RedTail Vs Harris

Alright mate i had a female red tail about 8 yrs back when i couldnt afford a harris, red tails were nearly half the price, as a beginers bird i think the red tail will teach u more about falconry than a harris as harrises are more easy going, pr red tails took out the aviary at 6 months are bloody agressive at the first oppurtunity they will grab u any where as a hunting hawk the harris wins hands down against a red tail from my experience i do like red tails but the kind of land i have avaliable to hunt on the harris will always catch more than the red tail 1 thing i have alway liked about
