    velarde bells

    Hello everyone just wanted to know if anyone knows where to buy ricardo velarde acorn bells from as i bought a pair about 6 years ago from the falconers fair and there are still going strong the best pair of bells i bought they cost £20 just wanted to try to get my self a replacement pair incase i lose one next season any help appreciated. Yes mate those squirrels are lethal my harris has caught the odd couple but i try to keep her off them if i can as most of the time u dont know they are there until the birds in a tree and u cant do nothing about it sorry about the harris mate do u still think she will able to hunt once its healed up Nice peregrine

Yes mate she was very lucky she was so close to the rabbit she left it too late to alter course and avoid it i was fearing the worst as i got to her and just when i thought she was allright i noticed the primary feathers just glad shes still alive and can look forward to hunting with her again next season as shes the best bird ive ever had All the best and happy hunting

Hello everyone went out yesteraday with the harris had 2 brilliant chases but on the third chase disaster stuck i bolted a rabbit the harris gave chase instantly then the rabbit ran through some old farm machinery the bird was so close she smashed straight in to it luckily she was alright but she has broke 3 main primary feathers on the same wing at the top she is now unable to fly the same so the season ended early have to look forward to next season now Happy hunting

Hello Stollen Basically Finn birds are Larger than their German neighbours and generally do have a slightly easier going temperament, having said that you get what you put in so if you put the time into a German bird it should'nt turn out much different than the Finnish temperament wise. there is a slight problem in this country with big birds "Big Will Syndrome" , alot of lads like to walk about with these bloody great Finnish female's on their fist for a pose which is slower on the turn than a smaller female and certainly doesn't get into its stride as quick as the smaller females either

  11. Alright mate r ur polecats eyes red like an albino or a very deep ruby red as i had one that looked like it had black eyes in normal light conditions but under artificial lighr they were a very deep red ruby

  15. Yes mate when i mated my albino gill to a polecat the young were sandy then when i mated my sandy with a albino i ended up with silvers just guessing that if i mated a silver with a albino is there a chance of black eyed white Thanks
