Fair point, with the exception of Thatcher being patriotic. She was a firm advocate of the EU and did more to get us "in" than many before her. She may have done it under the auspices of patriotism believing that we should be in the "inner sanctum" of brussells. The Falklands was without doubt a piece of fortuitous luck for her. Do you have to be white to be English then? yes, of course you do. In that case there is probably around 3 million English people living in England and half of them probably have a non white partner or child. A few more generations and there will probably be no "english" in England. I think Its a ridiculous statement to say you have to be white to be english! a bit racist too. we hunt a few bogs each season but with terriers and beagle crosses and springer crosses ,we account for quiet a few foxes with the lurchers from them
