    No mate the lurcher was bred in southern ireland from some well known dogs. As for the white thing he has done a few sketches here and there

    Just thaught id put a few pics of mine and my mates terriers up playing out the back. The red bitch is mine she is a lakeland X patterdale, 12 months old and has had a few digs and doing well. The other bitch is my mates she is a pure lakeland, 10 months old and is howing good promise.

    he seemed well enough in himself and has bolted and dog foxes before perhaps he has just thrown the towell in ive heard of dogs doing this, what do u think Thats fair enought then mate if there was no real reason to walk out then i d say your right he has just give up. The only other thing i will say is so this doesnt happen again try to keep the dogs that were fighting apart. ATB martin

    If you have dug to the older russell before and you know it is 100% the question i would be asking is why did it walk out Eg, not very well, quarry it doesnt like. ATB martin

    After speaking to you via pm my opinion would be get yourself a russel or russel cross for bolting in the rock earths and then get yourself somthing like a lakie X patt for digging to. ATB martin

    We have some good craic. At the minuite i only have a lakie X patt bitch she is 12 month old and ive had 7 digs with her. Ive not been over here long and will hopfull get a few more terriers about me by next season. A mate who i hunt with has a 10mnth old lakie bitch who is showing good promise but she seems a bit slow in the head lol ATB martin

    Let her see it through the cage for a few minuites, once she is wound up hold her at the door and open the cage, if she want in the cage with it let her if not wait till it bolts. ATB martin

    My opinion is that breed doesnt matter as lond as its doing what you want. If its a pup your after then get you friends to have a word with theres and see if they no anyone breeding worker to worker. I personally havnt worked a pure patterdae but have seen my mates worked, they all come with different temprements, some are too hard, some are mute and some are spot on. It all depends on what you want the dog to do. I like a dog to push its quarry into a stop end and work it. Im not keen on terriers that steam in at full speed and just grab hold and take unnecessary punishment. That is just

    yes mate. I found that my bitch would kill rats etc as soon as she seen them she didnt need guidence from another dog. My idvice would be just show it what you can until someone comes along to help. Maybe set a few live traps for rats and squirells and see what your terrier thinks of them through the cage befor you go any further. ATB martin
