    Jobo could hunt each fell pack on a different day and the pennine on a sunday he myt even be able to fit in rockwood harriers one of the days lol !!! imo the young huntsman you just spent the weekend hunting with would be the man for the job proper nautral houndsman but mr rogers likes yes sir no sir huntsman. Hes single handed kept the hunt going over the years but hes also played a bit part in taking the hunt from a top class well respected pack of hounds to something so far from that now. But hopefully they will rise again !!

    what at keeping a pack of hounds round his feet lol. Sound guy nothing wrong with him as a person but defo not top huntsmen. Thought ullswater might of gone for a younger huntsman but you never know he might just surprise

    Would just like to say thanks to cwn-hala off this site and all involved from all the lads at the scarview foxhounds for the invite to north wales to hunt some of their country. some good hunts were had over some great country and we were all made welcome especially with the food back at cwn-hala afterwards . so once again from the scarveiw foxhounds

    Lads with hound knowledge around you will defo help. And not saying you are but abit of advice if your wanting hounds to help get more work for the terriers forget it !! it aint as simple as that because a good marking hound is not easy to get hold of and a fox wont just go to ground easy because 3 or 4 hounds are hunting it . so if you doing for the hound work good luck but if its for the terriers forget it .     Just wanted to share the highs and lows of hunting with a hound pack made up of mates !! We have a small pack of foxhounds some of you may know as the woodland foxhounds and it looked like it was going to be a shit christmas period for us due to a lad with us from the start but now former member spitting their dummy out. Earlier this week removing 3 of our best hunting and marking hounds from the huntmans kennel while he was out working because he had a part with our huntsman in getting the hounds with the attitude if we didnt hunt on his terms we wasnt going to hunt these hounds at all so all

    I have a 13 week old terrier pup for sale he is smooth copper cast dog .This dog was bred by myself out of my old 9 year old bitch and my 4 year old dog both working and very proven . he is jabbed and totally full of him self . PM me for more details if seriously interested £150

    How old was stud dog ?? suppose all dogs can spew but a good dog with 3+ hard seasons being dug to week in week out (or when fit) shouldnt spew !!! I know of a dog from near me that was dug to every 2 months + and looked a very good dog with lads wanting to use as a stud but as soon as it was used in a few times in a short space of time (not sore) it walked . Not saying dog you used was no good just saying that some lads use dogs that look good been used lightly and thats where mistakes are made atb true saxon

    Each to there own what standard of dog you keep but i think what gouldy is trying to say is dog was entered then came out and then was re entered in same hole and went on another 30 yards so the reason of roots stopping the dog can not be used as an excuse for dog comming out as obviously he could get on further !!! And im not slagging old nogs dog off as it did job in the end just roots never stopped this dog pushing on maybe it was a touch of lazyness fist time round no one will ever know!!!!

    No worries this honestly isnt sour grapes towards the man this is just a warning to other lads around he a very malicous man if things dont go his own way. Only glad we are good freinds with all the farmers around rockwood country because the things the huntsman wont say his name accussed us of doing to the police and wildlife officers could of had all our dogs taken and a prison sentence but thanks to the farmers correcting it all for us a full appology was made by the law but at least you all know why to stay away ATB true saxon

    One of the worst hunting packs in the country shame as previously a super pack with a grass for a huntsman/ master to the police and wildlife officer when comes to terrier work and any other hounds hunting in the surrounding area with full permission beleave me stay well clear as numerous lads on this site will tell you ATB true saxon
