  1. Well off to bed now 12.20am and up for 5.30am feel a bit worse for wear had a few ciders and feel like this rabbit I shot with the .223 at 180 yards, bolloxed. Good job I am not driving, not that I would or I might finish up being like this.
  2. I know it was a bit of a late offer and most have made other arrangements. I will sort something for next week and give more notice,
  3. Where you going, there are plenty about around sheff if you know where to go.
  4. Yes sorry I should have put that in, we will share out the rabbits equally between us all, that's fair isn't it.
  5. Cracking day by the looks of things, bet not many rabbits get away from the dogs on that land, awesome......
  6. Shoot whenever you can see, but ground game only when dark. (well unless you are wildfowling or have xray eyes) Around here we don't get the pigeons at first light that often, it's usually gulls, then crows and then the pigeons but you need to be there and ready early because the first flights are hungry birds and they just keep coming.
  7. That must be it then, now I have an excuse

  9. Anyone fancy a few hours with the crew tomorrow, we can take a crew or singles but you must have your own equipment. Ferrets, nets, spades, etc We are doing a dyke and a hedgerow on the fen that we did last season, but I have been asked to do it again to thin some more out before drilling starts. If you are interested you would have to be here (near Lincoln) for 6.30am sharp so we can make an early start. We had over 100 in 2 trips last season, this pic was on there with 4 of us and a spectator. I have promised some lads a trip but can't remember who so they would have first preference if t

  13. We had a decent bag yesterday of 56, that was good going for the conditions. It would be nice to have open grass fields with holes in the open, guess most of this stuff is north yorks stuff, you can get good bags up there.
  14. School run vehicle your joking, they should have a good pair of boots and a warm coat.
  15. Whats the fuel consumption like pretty low I should imagine. We should have a Hunting Life all out ferreting day next season.

  19. Well my first day back after my toe operation and couldn't wait to get out of the house. I knew I would have to take my time and the guys knew I would be a bit of a lemon today. As it happened I was not too bad, well I don't think so my toes were freezing all day so I never felt any pain. We were just tidying up a few hedgerows that we had missed sections off last time we did them, obviously we were not going to empty them but just thin them out. The farmer had asked us to do them and it's rude to say no so we just got on with the job. The early frosts were quite hard and it was a bit of a
