  3. HI mate. Well to start with you already have a fac, so it must mean you have an ounce of savy!!. We all have to start some where and don't have the luxury of knowing some one with a center fire! so the best advise i think that i could give you is put in for the variation get the gun ammo etc etc then go to my targets.com print off a load of targets some being animal i.e fox targets. Now that you have all this in hand find a good field with a very good back stop about 100 or so yds and set out your targets and Punch holes!! But the main thing to remember is think how SAFE you are with the 22l
  4. Concentricity, the lee dies do the job..... But if you want to have accurate bullets you gotta have the tolerances within the dies.... runout is expeced to double once you seat the bullet, with good quality dies, tolerances are that bit tighter, now i had lee dies, And got good accuracy, but after runout was checked on a concentricity gauge of neck runout, i seated both bullets one with the lee and one with redding, the runout slightly more than doubled with redding and was .007 to .009 with the lee, anything below .04 is classed as good..... you get what you pay for,

  20. Hi all!! at the mo i am using a swazi 8x56 habicht for lamping on my tikka, i use the tracer max for light with red filter! now the problem is that the reticle is to fine so am having trouble sighting the cross hairs and a b*****d to see via the red filter! so i am thinking of getting a new'un but not sure do i go for the eliminated or a different reticle? what are you using any good or what do you thinks!!!
  21. went out last night with the new batch of wini sp 65gr. i thought that i may have to re tune the tikka in but to my delight at 100yds it was the same as the 55gr sp!!! which got me thinking i have a tikka T3 223 and it shoots excelent! this is the first time i have put 65s through her for foxing. The question is who else uses 65s ? if any or is it a little to much for the job in hand?.
