    That's some shot count Daz. I'm surprised at what you pay for these rifles that the mags are not much kop. I have heard a few folk say bad things about the mags.

    Just a thought. But have you tried electrical contact spray or compressed air on the switch. If that's what you think it is. There is very little to a micro switch and 9 out of 10 times its the copper contacts that fur or green up.

    If you got a FAC mk2 regged you would increase the shot count. Certainly not to be disregarded. But i find a low shot count is more than enough. I mean, if you made all forty shots count, that's one hell of a heavy trek back to the motor. Or if your a shite shot like me you spend as much time back at the motor re filling your bottle than you do shooting.

    presuming a 40fp'er? It can be but it runs sweet and does just a good job anywhere between 20 and 30.

    Cheers Elliot Ghilles. I'm happy with the low shot count. To be fair I expected that with it being an early mk1 and FAC. So no disappointment. I just have to make each shot count. Lol. Sometimes that's a big ask and I would probably be better throwing the rifle at the rabbits.

    LC a 4" grinder with a flap disc makes ease of removing the excess. Very tidy looking boxes. Atb

    Thanks Archie. I sometimes envy what some folk have and as nice as the gardens are I would be fecked If I was to be looking after them. Weeding... Grass cutting...etc etc. so yes a good place to enjoy somebody else's space!! I will happily stick to my concrete yard and postage stamp of grass which has bald spots where the dog has pissed. LS.     My rapid is FAC so unless I wind it down I don't get the shot count. Unregged I get about 40 shots before I loose the sweet spot. Cheers.

    I will get on it phil. Yes sir. My S10 is .22 and to be honest I have never had any issues nor have I considered swapping it or getting a .177. But saying that I have not tried it in .177 so maybe I don't know what I'm missing? I would be interested to find out. It's one of the best ratting guns I have ever owned. As I have said before the only issue I had was the noise, but a HW silencer took care to that. Atb

    Im back on at one of my yearly rabbit jobs, nice large cottage set in about 2 acres of pristine gardens and woodland. There is not so many rabbits here but those that are the lady of the house likes to keep it that way as they have cost her thousands in plants and specimen roses. So today with the sunshine i had a walk on to set the traps and have a pop at whatever was about. Of late i have only been shooting the rapid and nothing else has really had a look in, so i treat the old S10 to an outing. I love this little gun, accurate, consistent and very reliable.
