yea it's hard to get your head around francie.it seem's the shorter lad can take there back in the clinch a lot more than the taller guy. buakaw had amazing conditioning and power.have a look at the leg power in this video.

there's a massive huge difference in waiting for a dog to mature.and trying to break a dog physically and mentally wouldnt you agree katchum. so what was i doing when the dog was young walking around fields ferreting and lamping on my own.when the dog was in the house.ive gone through many a pair of altberg's since the dog was a pup.and no i dont own a treadmill.

cant agree more.a time when real musicians played instrument's and wrote there own song's.most of todays singers have songs wrote for them etc.=rubbish. saying that mind.wishbone ash did write this song for me lol

have a look on google maps chaff and terry for old disused railway's no track's left etc.easy to see the cutting on the land.usually good places for a mooch about.ive found some nice places doing that.then if it's holding rabbits a bit of door knocking etc.

ive got an old railway embankment permision riddled with holes.used to have some great days there ferreting and air rifle.be lucky to see 1 on there now.holes filling in with leaves.

its frustrating walking back home quick flick of the lamp and there eyes.but the dog is knackered.just got to turn off the lamp and ignore it.

straight line down the field he closes the gap every time.hes a dog not a machine when hes blowing out of his arse tired and the prey is fresh its a different scenario. he's to keen in my eye's and is to up and at em.when they put a turn in he will over shoot and has to make that ground up again which he does.if he sat back a bit and cut them off on the turn we would have more in the bag.

it is frustrating though chaff.ive gone home empty handed when he's pulled up a few times.but hes fit to run again without injury,so cant win them all

90% of the time there dead when he retrieves them chaff the back and ribs crushed to bit's ive never eaten a rabbit it's all dog and ferret food.so it dont matter that much to me

my dog is 4yr old.he mark's 100%. will pick up a scent from a ploughed field and track it into the hedgerow/cover and shift it.nothing has straighlined him in speed.never opens up chasing.bullet proof around other dog's.ferrets/chickens/chick's even play around his feet while lying in the garden.and my lads turtle. can work him with hand signals while ferreting getting him to stand where i want him to. other side of hedge burry etc.i hate talking while ferreting.he didnt fully mature untill 3yr old though.his only fault or maybe not a fault which ever way you prefer.he wont hit thick cover/ he
