  1. the only answer i can think of is that in 1740 england invented crucible steel, which was common in trap making, it was a much more refined steel and of much better quality than anything else around at the time ,because of its purity ,and in the american climate could possibly oxidise quicker, forming the patina sealing the steel and protecting it from corrosion,why it would do that there and not here i can only think that somehow they must have a higher level of sulfur,thats my guess ,but its only a guess ,i could be wrong i probably am.

    i was sitting in a vets one day and a girl comes in with a dog much like this one ,i thought f*****g ell,how could you treat a dog like that, anyway got chattin turns out the dog had panchreitus and couldnt put on any wieght, do you know the facts behind the picture?

  12. I've been trying to but the cover runs down one side of the feild and then along the bottom sort of like an L shape if you catch my drift. I hide right in the corner of the cover and watch the young ones come out from the side, i can get between them and the cover they come from but then they get to the cover along the bottom. No way could i lamp him, he's far to eager ot use his nose, i just couldn't trust him. This place is short cut grass so maybe isn't the best place to try him on. They are young ones that are coming far out of cover but they're still making there escape. Thanks

  15. youd have to use your loaf matey ,this one was laying next to a busy road, early in the morning, still warm, it was in good condition as were all the organs,it tasted good to me any way
  16. i was going to work one morning last november,saw a nice size roe lying on the grass verge, pulled over felt it, it was still warm,i chucked it straight in the back of the truck,my labourer was with me[non hunter]he was cringeing and saying i was an animal,i just laughed all the way back home,i didnt skin it in front of him i think hed have been off, but that deer fed over twenty people at a friend of mines bonfire party,waste not ,want not
