    were leaving here at 9 mate doing 4 farms 1st one 150 acre 2nd 120 acre 3rd 200 acre 4th 40 acre,were hittin the 3hrs mark and starting at 9 i will let them pick the order of which farm 1st and role a dice for who slips 1st so sandwiches and drinks will be served back here approx 12 pm,mark good stuff, are all the heats the same a 3 hour limit on them? YES THURSO should be a good craic, wish i had entered now, but with a two week old baby here, i just wouldnt have the time theres always next year Would have been good if you had mate, you from the top

    very good value for money that, walked up is far better craic than driven anyway, if it was closer i would deffo take a day. has he thought about letting to lads with hawks? as they would im sure also be interested in this, and they are happier with a couple of decent flights rather than big bags of game.

    a similar situation here M, high winds and lack of kills forces my hand to get him a kill, its frustrating for me let alone the bird!!!

    tried bolting a few rabbits today with the ferrets, the first few he showed no interest at all with, then one either very dumb or suicidal bunny popped out and then just sat in front of us id like to say he chased it down over 100s of yards but in all truth he just popped of the fist and onto it anyway i gave him a good crop up on it and hopefully this will make him keener the next time, his weight is still higher than i would like, but its a work in progress at the moment. one of him from a few days ago after he got blown way off after a pheasant, looking wet and sorry

    it was really windy here a few days ago and i was going to fly in the shelter of a quarry on route i noticed 7-8 pheasants roadside, i stopped and slipped the gos, the wind caught them and they were away over the horizion i shouldnt have done it as it was too windy but temptation got the better of me, lesson learned

    i have the exact same one jasper, and had to use it yesterday for the first time and it was bang on, my gos took off after a phessie in strong winds and i found him about a mile away in long grass, without the telem he was gone!!

    3 posts in and you have me sussed im really sorry i wont comment again willyneferreter, by all means comment on something you have an experiance of, but it just bugs me you have to comment on everything? you have never owned a whippet, your only talking about hearsay? hardly grounds to be giving advice and yes i did tell you to go away after you pmd me, as i have nothing to say to you that cant be said on here?
