  1. Just bushing mate, not saying he normally catches them on his own as hes worked with 1 or 2 more terriers. But he is the main finder and normally catches them in thick cover!

  6. Went out with a good mate today whos russel dog has had 11 above ground since christmas! Alot of the digging lads i know have struggled with half that amount.. Just wondered if anyone one else has had as much luck? We had another today and one dug to with cubs that was left alone. I took a few pics of the russels after, not the best pics but i was proper impressed..
  7. Cheers lads. What about the bones though? when i boil the fish the bones tend to become much softer and dont cause any problems..
  8. Not sure if i should be posting this in this section or not? But its nearly that time of year that i will be stocking the freezers up with mackerel again, it has always been part of my dogs diet but i was wondering if anyone knows if it would be better fed raw or cooked? I have always boiled it for a short time, taken the tail and spine out and then just give them all the rest.. Can they be fed raw or would the bones be a problem? Cheers chris
  9. The only thing the deerhound x would possibly do better is the hare. Bull x for me! But my next lurcher will be a deerhound greyhound x bull grey!!

  11. If a dog grafts all its life for you then you should show it some respect and let it live the rest of its life to the best standard you can offer it!! Not end its life because your kennel is to full!
  12. 25 miles is nothing but 250 miles is pure dedication! Im lucky enough to be able to walk out my back gate but do travel 20 or 30 miles quite regular.

  15. Have you only ever owned a collie cross mate? If so that is there style!! Even more so as they age, you either love them or hate them, Marmite dogs! I dont have the patience for them now but one of the best dogs iv seen run was a 3/4 col grey..
  16. Optics warehouse sell them mate. You have to buy the Osram xenon ones any other are second best!!

To late Tomo , lambing time. your allright on the other farms you got to get on a few more mate and stop going TO W farm Sounds like you have a job as a judge then mate. i cant judge i work nights at the weekends, back to square one then,i got some goo land,and a good judge would be made welcome to see its fair and square Hope the statements you write are better written than your posts!!
