  2. to be honest I don't use the Bluetooth as it drains the battery quicker, just head mount, click the power on, listen for the beeps, then press the shutter to record, hope for the best its caught the action, I tend to point it down a bit more than I think it needs, it normally works lol
  3. trust me it was lashing it down when we set off for this ground today, truck stop for a full English brekkie, then got to the ground with it just easing off, sun was shining when we finished, I did think about not going at all lol

I like the reds a lot, had a female before I knew what I was doing years ago, she was a great natured bird, wish I knew then what I know now, no I didn't loose her, I came to my sense's and let the guy I got her off have her back, keep saying I will have another but I cant let go of the ......................................................goshawks
  9. coming on a treat, a credit to you, nice to see different methods of training/fitness used, also having balls to lamp the gos, I cringe at some of the flights they do in the day time, night time I'd be a wreck!!!

  11. well now the season is under way, don't be afraid to post your days out, fails too(lol) Monday and wensday were rest days for my bird, but Tuesday nothing about so just finished off with recalls, Thursday kicked up a hen pheasant which she gave it all followed it in a big thick gorse bush(80ft square) had to track her on the telem as lost sight of her over a hedge, found her in the gorse, today nothing about so more recalls as didn't have much time on my hands due to other commitments tomorrow were ferreting some good rabbit land so should have some good results atb bullet
  12. You look pretty familiar bullet crime watch?
  13. rumour has it they let some go that had mixy to wipe out the wild ones, but who knows, could be line breeding or anything, dug to a litter of young once and it contained an albino young un, gave it to my mother who reared it to adult age, ive also seen another albino rabbit in the same area, where the black one came from I got the heads up that there is black uns around before we even got there so must be common
  14. A hell of a long way to go for a hawk, but possibly worth it. I have an egg-laying female who stands, lays and incubates and I'm betting she will rear as well if any eggs hatch. I have been considering for a while if its worth the hassle to breed from her. are you sorted for semen?

  20. I like the german birds, my male is half german and he fles best around 1lb 11.5 oz to 1lb12oz, he's nailed a few pheasants but I mainly fly rabbits, he lost a talon on one a few years ago, looking forward to getting him going again later this season
  21. been out today on invite grounds in the peak district, hard going on the dry stone walls, but managed to bag me self a black rabbit, had a few hard flights and it was a hot day up there
  22. david mine seems to be the same weights I was at and where im at now, she's doing awesome, she took three rabbits today no problem two were caught on my go pro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgxQqyEzEWI I didn't get the first one on cam......doh the go pro my missus got me for around for around £350 so your 300 would be good, mine is the gopro hero 4 silver, the difference is mine has a screen on the back
  23. cracking pics there sean, atleast you can be arsed to do a write up on your bird/ days accounts etc, I just haven't got the time lol, as for hooding its each to their own, the female im flying was 6 years old when I got her(imprint) tried hooding her but she wasn't having any of it, it was hard enough to get her come to the fist, think she's been flown to the lure which is something I don't do.....again my choice, I cracked her eventually, but hooding a bird the that just wont have it or thrashes around when hooded will resent you in time
