  8. well done mate I never got out the day with the gos as is pissing down here and did a rope pulls hope tomorrow will be better weather to get out. the weather not much better here at the mo, we have been lucky just to get out in between the showers as we fly from about 9ish in the morning
  9. went to our local ground yesterday which holds a few hares and pheasants, saw a covey of greys but where miles away to try get a decent slip, knocked a pheasant up but didn't slip as it headed towards the farm house( have to be a bit discreet with feather here lol) saw no hares so just did some long recalls today- was ferreting rabbits day, first bolt and slip resulted a rabbit in the bag, next two slips she flew hard but the rabbits just jinxed their way out of the situation(fair play) my mate also bagged one with his male, the ferret bagged us 3 more rabbits, two were just in side the ho
  10. im not disagreeing with you, each to their own, I fly in our winds here, I say our as yours looks like the hilly dales which I know can be windy up their, not sure where your from, I flew up the peak last sunday as it was windy my bird hit a rabbit and ended up rolling 10/15 yards past the point of impact as she had the wind up her arse!!

    Broken Toe

yawn, who let the kids in? joking or not, it wasn't funny, a lot of falconers put a lot of time and effort in to their birds, only to have a knobtard to start with crap like this, no wonder folk are turning away from sites with likes on you on them, reminds me why I didn't come on here for a while

    Broken Toe

to you it might be, but to me its not, my birds give me 100% everytime so the least I can do its make sure their welfare is 100%, my mates bird broke its leg on bad landing after a rabbit, the vets pinned the leg and now she's right as rain, hunting again, no problems, did he think it was worth it? hell yes
  17. the gopro will come with experience, looking good though, more balls than me mate lol

    Broken Toe

I have more respect for my animals than to do something barbaric as this, like taking it the vets, could heal fine or be fixed and still have the use,
  19. good luck, let us know how you get on
  20. I turn mine off between setts, waiting my turn to slip my bird as my mate doesn't really want to be on camera, or just forgetting to use it(saves batts too pmsl!)
  21. like I said the Bluetooth kills the battery far too quick for my liking, i'll never use it in the field
  22. had few good flights on rabbits and hares today, even though she connected with the rabbits she hit them with some speed due to a lot of tail wind!! blowing a gail up the peaks! she lost them
