  1. any gd jokes mate or they jist all as boring as u lol Now now bumbhoy, no need of that. I didnt put it up on account of its hysterical merrit, it was just such a dull and loose post by you to begin with and as tired as i am its the best i could come up with. The term "all rounder" is chucked about far to much by people who have little or no idea of its meaning.
  2. Once heard of a bloke who's lurcher swallowed a space hopper whole..... He said it turned out to be an all rounder.
  3. Made me laugh, true though. What a combo, runs like fek and dont stop or listen. Ugly sod to boot!!
  4. If its a fishing yak you go for then you will be sitting on and not in it, capsizing is not really an issue with them. You can fall off them but they tend not to flip over so you just drag your a## back on as best you can. An anchor is fine iff conditions permit, i have a .7kg anchor and 100 yds of cord. It takes up hardly any room and is easy enough to use, ( remember to set a trip/release on the anchor when you attach the cord to allow for sea bed snagages )
  5. thats ironic my dog looks the spit of that and got his tail trapped in a car boot also..lol. I was refering to pie loosing bit of his tail to a car boot, the picture of the dog i put up is a few years old.
  6. If there was one thing he wasnt it was bully ...very much the opposite I would say The thing is that most of us here can only go off the posts we have seen from Wilfy woo. I suppose that the people that know him out side of tinter net land or the ones that have known, (endured) him for a long time on here might have a more informed oppinion. But to me for instance, and only going on what i have read from him, he is a bit of a bully and a bit of a prick. Constantly going for the overly direct and shock value aproach to things painted a certain picture in my mind. Still, all that said, this
  7. This fella has his blood still running through a few lurchers viens im told, mostly in the north east i think. He was owned orriginally by ONE of the people who ran pie. I think, but am not sure, that he was running with pie about the time that his tail was shut in the car boot if that rings any bells.
  8. no i was fishing black head out going tide also cault a couple of small pollack i fish for seatrout on the fowey and on the camel when tiz open We fished Black Head yesterday and had a few. Fished off Chaple Point for a few hours first but was brev and quiet so we headed for Black Head in the hope that we could at least go home with a mackrell or two.
  9. Thanks Jasper. Iv taken a fair understanding from your reply so it was typed more than well enough for me !! Much appreciated.
  10. We had half a dozen off the rocks last wednesday, all on feathers.
  11. nice one mate for being succesful with the Harris's . Kevo is bang on 8 - 10 days but to be Honest I like to get them back with their parents by 5 - 6 days so I stick the rings on them useing Micropour < the stuff for bandages>, just roll it round the ring making a tighter funnel at the ankle.... If you are going to leave them with the parents full term then ignore this abd go for the 8 - 10 days!! but I'm greedy and always go for double clutches or triple ... this is one of the suppliers I still use which is a bit cheaper than the rest plus you can bang your Initials on the
  12. We put the two HH's away on the 23rd of february with a couple of minor changes to the flight incase they fancied paring up. She laid her first egg on 17th of this month and laid the third egg last night. Assuming all goes well and we end up with a chick or two, at what age do you put the closed ring on the youngsters and do you get them through IBR.
  13. Yes my friend, you are quite correct. What else could anyone say about Kernow other than that Mark B lives here, you are clearly not plumb up Anyway, Marks ok.
  14. You celts should be happy with the bits of wet rock us brits left you to live on,so much for gratefullness .When my first lad was on his way into this world i have to admit driving from liskard to plymouth so he'd be a English born boy.No offence lads were all proud of our forfathers, yours just lost and ran away to the hills Have you been educating yourself with historical facts off the back of cheap cereal boxs??
  15. Ok, last time of asking. Please answer the call "powers that be" even if its a no, just put me out of my Cornish mysery!!!!!
  16. Hope its ok to drag up an old thread, i think there was a bit of "stuff" going on on the site when i last put up the request. If the silence in place of a reply was indeed its own answer then i do apologise for asking again but i thought it couldnt hurt.
  17. Thanks for the input, much appreciated.
  18. Because of the wind direction over the weekend i decided a little exploritory mission up one of the rivers creeks was a good call, we would have been fishing for a few bass off the south coast but didnt fancy the chop or relentless wind pushing us around. Anyway, i had only gone a short way up the creek when i started to see some really big mullet mooching about. I certainly wasnt tackled up to fish for them and have never actually targeted mullet before, its amazing how close you can get to them in a yak before they spook but try as i might i could not get a decent pic of one. So im going ba
  19. A " good Alaunt" as it were, would sort of be classed as a result of someone reinventing the wheel. An infusion of a few Mastiff types and enough blood from a tidy first cross bull grey to get it to do a bit.
  20. Im pretty sure there are a few lads out having a do with a presa cross by now, some might be ok and some may not. Dont think that the thing in that picture is a particularly stunning example of a Pressa though.
  21. Would it not depend on how close the line had allready been bred? What i mean is that if you have been inbreeding/line breeding to have created the dogs you currently own, then it would be how closely line bred the dogs allready are that determins how close you can breed them. Unless i missunderstood and you mean the first inbred/linebred cross of previously unrelated dogs.

I walked a dog round a lovely housing estate called Callun in Preston back along, Fek me ! it was like rolling in to the wild wild west  That said, walking accross the golf course and along a strech of the Ribble was nice enough.
