    I DON T KNOW WHAT ALL THE FUSS IS ABOUT OVER THIS PUP. SOME CROSSES LOOK SLEEK AT 8 WEEKS AND SOME TAKE A LITTLE LONGER.BEDDIE CROSSES BEING A FINE EXAMPLE. I HAVE A BITCH I BOUGHT 12 MONTHS AGO. SHE WAS A VERY SIMULAR SHAPE TO RUBY. SURE ALL MY MATES HAD A LAUGH. BUT THERE NOT LAUGHING NOW. SHE S NOW 23 INCHES AND STILL GROWING AND CAN TURN ON A SIXPENCE. PUT HER PICTURE ON IN 12 MONTHS PEOPLE WILL SEE A DIFFERENT DOG, ALL THE BEST I M LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING HER PROGRESS HAVING BEEN IN YOUR POSITION MYSELF GOOD LUCK

    You ve made massive progress by breaking him to ferret I think collie cross greyhound is ideal for the job you have in mind. They are so eager to please you. and going off your question you feel the same way about the dog. Sounds to me like the beginning of a perfect partnership. Training a dog is a bit like raising a child The most valuable thing you can give it is your time. Teach it To retreive and come when called Let it see the ferret every day so it sees it as a workmate. You will have bad days when nothing seems to go right . Dont worry be patient pack up doing something its good at
