Thank you Mack .Crystal clear as it should be .No ifs ,no buts ,no name calling .Respect to the crew who found it . Perhaps we should start a go fund page for decent cams for gayman ,sorry Greyman .The 8 cams I have out seem to be getting only foxes to a bait at moment ,no bop rats or corvids .Might be because I’m baiting at night and they beat them to it .All baits spiked to the ground .Can’t beat the anticipation of inspecting the cards on the majority and getting texts from a few of the better ones .

Still name calling Paul .It’s unbecoming of a man if your standing to keep using childish names to disguise the fact you don’t really believe it’s a big cat yourself or you’d be far more chilled and cocky about it . Youve stated before as have we few that the one pic that appears that is a large species of cat will change everything .We are all still awaiting that pic you included .

Huge respect for rats myself .Done a few over the years and seen some truly heroic things when they are up against it .We had one the garden last week .Dug under the decking where the bird feeder is .Found it dead yesterday killed by the terriers .Seen them up trees eating bark ,running along overhead power cables ,swimming lakes and diving for 50m or so .Seen a few take the fight to a ferret . Took the dogs out late last night and there’s rat prints across the middle of a field out back of ours in the snow . Supposed to be rat shooting tonight but it’s snowing hard here again now .

I’m on the thread because I find it very interesting mate .There was a spate of sightings here but nothing ever concrete . Everybodies entitled to an opinion mate and that’s just what it is ,an opinion . You write about regular sightings in a farming area but no one thought to shoot it even though it was killing livestock .Must be much more forgiving farmers than here mate .I might seem like a chap who just wants to argue but it’s only debate ,something a few get arsey over . You May call what’s been written as ridicule but all I see are questions without answers . I too h

You can’t have one without the other mate .Nothing vanishes into thin air . I get it was years ago but we are talking about current times as well and these things are still being seen with enough regularity to warrant an investigation by some foundation or another yet nothing seems to be underway . Even if your mates sightings were years back there were still cameras and dna available but not a jot to be found . T

Seems the only people calling others liars are those who’s mates have seen them .I’d like to think it was mere mistaken identity .Liar is a strong word that implies intent ,something I doubt is happening .Sudden flash of a black shape ,shapes in the dark or at distance must all be in the mix of cat sightings plus real feral cats .There are undoubtedly large ferals about ,I’ve seen them .
