  4. Alighter note on my theory this is abit of a heath robinson diagram I know and accept criticism but shows how I could introduce some vertical snoods between the head and foot rope, To help with the mesh size and weight
  5. Thanks Maty, I think my warrior 165 well up for it not sure about me  A net may be rigged with varying degrees of slack, which is primarily regulated by the hanging ratio. The hanging ratio measures how tightly the net is stretched along the head and foot rope. The hanging ratio may vary between the value of all meshes mounted at the same point on the ropes, so the net has no length dimension and a value of 1.0 When the netting is fully stretched out, hanging ratios are normally found between 0.25 and 0.65.with Slackness I could also introduce some vertical snoods between the head
  6. 7. Mooching around on new legal permission land is one thing, guddling salmon of the river is another kettle of fish I mean you risk of losing your permission, the land owner might not have the rights to the river so therefore you risk your own neck, but if you do it dont use a bright lamp

  20. Hiya bigred... its not just down south! And its not just in the north pal. There are bigger runs depending on the river. Some are more equipped for them than others....They are now realizing this, and building running ladders and better access in certain rivers.... Why don't use build brigdes instead , No mate tell us more a step up in the right direction no pun intended
